It does, I just was wondering if there was a more specific term for it. I mean the real term gay means extremely happy, and most homosexuals are very happy XD

Actually, it doesn't in this case. According to the list of drawings to come, there will be a lesbian bird.
Although the word 'gay' is an archaic word for 'very happy', since the LGBTQ+ rights issues became prevalent in the world, that meaning is outdated and seldom used except for in works of literature, music and similar 'literary time capsules' from before the common usage meant 'male homosexual'.
