You wanna know how I got these markings?
Well, this Caniwara had always been in love with the sea.
Once, he had been just a simple white Caniwara. With nowhere to go and no place to call home, he spent his life by the sea.
Believe it or not, a sorceress had been watching him, seeing how he loved the sea, and noting his plain white coat. So she decided he needed a little something more.
While he was sleeping one day, she bound his soul to the ocean, and in doing so, the ocean itself gave the Caniwara his own little waves, so that they would never be apart. The Caniwara woke up after the sorceress had done this, and yet as he watched the woman walk away, he knew.
Though, his explanation is much more simple, so he doesn't get bombarded with questions:
"I was born with them."

By the way, Seafoam can have his name changed.

You wanna know how he got those markings?
Well, one fine day sitting by the seashore Seafoam had dozed off and fallen asleep. Waves swept him out to sea. When he could no longer keep his head above the water he sank. Everything went black, the last thing he saw was long licks of golden hair, a long silvery fin, and a smiling face. When he woke he was back on the seashore, he raced around telling everyone he knew that a mermaid had saved him. Nobody believed him, so he sat by the seashore for a long while until that fair maiden of the sea came to see him and told the story off how she had created those markings. She told him that when he's out at sea, those markings will call to her so they could meet again.

Extra: Seafoam loved to collect sea shells.he always went once a day to collect them.one day he found a beautiful seashell but when he reached for it the shell started to crawl. Seafoam followed it out to the shallow part of the ocean when he got tangled in seaweed.Seafoam tried to weave his way out,but he couldn't.The green weed just bound tighter around him.Suddenly,the moving seashell had taken its claws out and cut the seaweed holding Seafoam.He was very grateful that the hermit crab had done this,so in return he brought the hermit crab back to the beach and had built a huge sand castle for the crab to live in.From that day the seaweed had painted marks on his skin and they have stayed.Thanks for doing this!
