Elaborate on/Explain scene: First off, I am aware that Arbex don't have wings, this was just for the scene. XD
As soon as I saw this contest I totally wanted to enter, and knew I'd do an Owl City song; either Technicolour Phase or To the Sky, my two top favorites!

Even though the chorus talks mainly about the night sky/stars, ("Awake the stars, 'cause they're all around you~) it's a very cheerful, happy song, and I wanted to keep it lighthearted and joyful, so she's soaring through the blue sky with fluffy clouds! C: I added paler lineart, too, so she doesn't stand totally out from the background and I thought it kind of just went with the pastel, cheerful theme. :3

This is my favorite part of the song, and the one it's based the most off, really, just for fun. c:

And listening to the song almost the entire time (it's my favorite, so~ 8D) was awesome, too, and I pretty much just drew what I thought fit the song!

The feathers are there because...well, I love feathers! But more than that, they kind of represent parts of the song, too, that I didn't want to add directly because they would seem kind of...out of place. Whenever I listen to this song, I always picture an owl (or an arbex, in this case XD) leaping into the air, eyes wide with wonder and adventure, diving between the clouds, featheres shimmering against a pale blue sky. I love this song!

I chose Lacey, 'cause...well, she's awesome, and I thought for whatever reason that she really fit the song. And so...yeah. C:

First: If we do anthro, can we clothe them? :3 (I don't want their poses to be restricted by angle/view. x3) I'm just planning on something simple and loose.

Second: Since the song I'm thinking about doing("On The Wing"), suggests a lot of different situations, could I do a lot of sketches showing a sort of story, and count it as one entry? I'd probably fully finish my favorite sketch.

Nope, doesn't have to be colored. If you think it'd fit better uncolored, than you're more than welcome to leave it uncolored.

You guys make me want to listen to Owl City now. xD The only one I've heard is 'Fireflies', though I've heard some of the other songs are even better.
