herro der mes amis, i am believe. proud canadian, ottb loving, colt breaking, nfr dreaming. pictured on the left is my racetrack reject, landofmakebelieve, aka molly, moo, shmoo, whatever name comes to mind x] molly is a 10 year old canadian bred thoroughbred mare, and standing at about 16.2hh, we look a little wonky when we chase cans, but la dee da that's alright. molly and i tried several disciplines. i tried desperately to get her to catch on to dressage, but unfortunately, she still has the race bred mind and is all go. however, together we found a discipline which we could both enjoy; western gaming. this summer we started travelling to barrel races locally. our current record on a standard size pattern is 17.314 and we are improving with every run. and to all the low budget barrel racers out there such as myself, a word of advise; chin up darling. you may not have a million dollar mount under your butt, but you and your crossbred, rejected, hard headed, rescue baby can do it. you know why? cause those girls sitting in their custom circle y's, upon shiny, top of the line mounts are full of themselves. they think there's no way they can lose. they get cocky. stay humble, believe in yourself, in your horse, and most importantly ride your little heart out.

Owner;; scarlet
Show Name;; Terminous
Age;; 3 years
Gender;; male
Art/Poetry/Short-Story;;
This is the story of how Tim, Met Scarlet:
On a clear summers night, a beautiful brown colt was born under a full moon. Scarlet was inside her wooden house, playing her favorite game: Majoras mask, on her n64, heard a whinny, coming from outside. Being nightfall, it could be anything out there.
She grabbed a lanturn, and slowly opened her back door. She seen a shadowy figure run towards her.
She held up her lanturn in deffence, wanting to scare the unknown creature away.
After a couple of seconds, she realized that the creature did not run into her. She slowly looked down, and seen a tiny brown colt, with a vanilla main and tail, with a white strip on its snout. It stood about half the size as she was. the young colt whinnied happily, and gave scarlet a light lick on the hand.
seeing that the young horse was of to no threat to her, she gently petted the colts short main, and went inside to get it something to eat. She came back out with two carrots in her hand. She sat down, sitting the lanturn next to her, and gave the colt the carrot.
She lived in a old horse farm, so she lead the colt into one of the stalls, and layed some hay down with some horse feed and a pale of water. She hung the lanturn on a post, so that the colt could see. the colt snorted happily and nudged scarlet.
Scarlet giggled and layed in the hay, while the colt layed his head on scarlet lap. scarlet gently stroked the colt's brown coat, and hummed a lullaby.
She thought for a moment and then quietly said out loud,
"i think i shall name you Terminous. you are as adventerous as termina, and have the beauty of its land scape"
the young colt whinnied again, as if agreeing with scarlet, as they both fell asleep in the hay.
they became the best of friends after wards, and played and trained happily in the field and in the deep green forest.

sorry if im not aloud to enter or if the story is to long
