Echostep padded into a sunny spot and ate his fresh-kill. He got up and stretched, his tail tip quivering.

Maplefeather laughed at her joke. "Or Stumblefoot." He smirked, now gaining balance.

Blizzardstar padded up to Echostep. "Hello there, I saw that the clan still needs a bit more prey, would you like to come hunt with me?"

"Oh, hello. And yes I would like to go hunting." He glanced at the fresh-kill pile which was running low.

"Alright then, follow me." She meowed, then padded off to a hunting ground. Blizzardstar sat down at the grounds, her tail folded around her paws neatly as she waited for Echostep.

He trotted after her. He walked into the clearing, wondering if theey should split up or not.

Marshfoot padded into the clearing. "Does my nose look ok?" She meowed. Rubbing her nose suddenly she realized they should go see Birchfrost. "Come on," she mewed. She stumbled on the way to the den. Why have I been so clumsy lately? Then she realized it. It's him!

Maplefeather nodded, why do you feel different about this cat then any other cats? he spat in his head. He sighed, pushing that thought away and padding back into camp.

"Alright, splitting up should be good, meet back here when you have three pieces of prey." She explained. Blizzardstar then ran off to the east, she started sniffing the air for any scents of prey around the area.

"Have you thought about getting an apprentice?" She meowed. She wanted to keep the conversation going. She licked her paw then swiped it across her nose, trying to wash off the blood.

"Yah, though I wouldn't be a good mentor." He sighed, "I just couldn't really teach the fighting part." He then looked at her,"and have you ever wanted one?"

"Of course!" Marshfoot meowed. Waiting for Birchfrost was quite boring. "Do you think we'll get to be mentors soon?"
