He smiled, then picking up his hare and meowing," Race you back to camp!" He speed of laughing. He was a slow runner himself at sometimes, but he always tried his best at a race he challenged or was to challenge.

Marshfoot pelted after Maplefeather, the vole swinging in her jaw. She dug her claws into the soft earth as she raced side by side with him. Determined to beat the tabby tom, she stretched her paws forward; as far as they could go, only to find herself face to face with the grassy earth. "Mouse dung!" She muttered.

Used to running on grass and rocks, he ran a bit faster, dodging bigger rocks in the way, then squinting, seeing the camp in the distance. He had never won a race before, so it made Maplefeather determined.

Leaping to her paws, Marshfoot hared after Maplefeather. The camp was only a few fox lengths away, but Maplefeather was too far ahead. She raced into camp only a tail length behind Maplefeather. "Good run," she mewed. Marshfoot padded over to the fresh-kill pile to deposit her vole. She then sat down and began to wash behind her ears. I'll beat him next time. She thought.

"You too." He purred, placing the hare in the pile, then trotting over and sitting beside Marshfoot. "So..... What to do now I suppose so." He meowed awkwardly, trying to start a conversation.

Marshfoot flicked her ear. "I dont know," she admitted. There were no more duties needed to be done. "Hey! How about a meal? We hunted for the clan already." Marshfoot meowed. Padding over to the fresh-kill pile, she chose her vole. Returning to Maplefeather, she placed it in front of him. "Let's share," she mewed thoughtfully, "after all, you do like voles." She settled down beside him.

"Thanks, and sure." He laid down then meowed to her," you may have the first bite." He smiled, then nudging it to her.

"Thanks," Marshfoot was starving after a hunt AND a run through the forest. Swallowing her first mouthful of prey she meowed, "What's it like being Blizzardstar's brother?" She nosed the prey back to his side.

He took a biet, then swallowed it. He thought for a moment then responded,"well, it's nice and pretty cool actually. You just feel a bit more importaint."
