NEVER ENDING WAR
The world is burning….
The world is screaming….
The world begs for death…
Still the war persists…

An evil being known as The Everlasting came to Earth with the intention of starting a never-ending war. To do this, he killed off all the world's leaders, and once the world dipped into chaos he handed out the War Pieces, weapons that provide both a blessing of power, and a curse of restraint, to children too young to currently wield them around the world.
You, one of the children given the gift of War, are older now, thrown headfirst into a world where no one is to be trusted and anyone could take your life should they see the task worth their time. The Everlasting gives you “games”. Tasks and challenges that you may choose to fulfill, with the possibility of reward, or decline, with the assurance of punishment. How will you fight? Will you entertain the Everlasting and play his game of endless bloodshed? Or will you fight against his tyranny in hopes of creating a world of peace and balance like the world of the past? The choice is yours, but despite that choice, you’re going to have to fight for your life.
Types of War Pieces:
-Weapon: A weapon war piece is any sort of weapon or weapon set. Weapons can have special abilities apart from being weapons, but the weapon’s power must center around the weapon, not the power. For example, you can’t have an axe that lets you shoot fireballs from your hands. You can, however, have an axe that launches fireballs with each swing. The power must be CONNECTED to the war piece. NOTE: A weapon piece will become lifeless if removed from the user’s possession. It cannot be used, activated, or even used as a blunt force instrument. When a weapon piece is removed from its user, consider it a large, useless featherweight. This means weapon pieces cannot be thrown or released from the body of the user as a method of attack.
-Armor: An armor war piece is either a piece of armor, some form of defensive equipment, or an entire suit of armor. The armor’s abilities can either enhance the user of the armor or provide them with some form of ability such as, yes, shooting fireballs. Armor abilities should be all in all slightly weaker than weapon abilities, as they are meant to enhance the person’s natural fighting, not act as the primary source of combat potential. It can also be noted that armor war pieces will be much more durable and have much more defensive capacity than regular armor. NOTE: Armor users’ armor pieces cannot be removed. If the armor is a singular piece of equipment, that piece cannot be removed from the users body, even by force. If the user has a full suit of armor for his/her piece, some piece of the armor must stay throughout, while the rest can be summoned and dismissed accordingly.
Sentinel: Sentinel war pieces are weapons that act on their own. These can include automatons, guardians, beasts, or soldiers. Note that sentinels are NOT LIVING BEINGS. They have a lifeforce, but they do not have a voice, or a sentient personality. They aren’t second characters, they are meant to act as weapons primarily. If your character has a sentinel war piece, they are still allowed to fight on their own, however they cannot possess any form of enhancement in their own combat abilities. It could be said that those who use sentinel war pieces are somewhat weaker than both weapon and armor users in terms of personal ability. Sentinel users are meant to primarily rely on their sentinels for combat. NOTE: Sentinels must have some form of storage container, such as a box, a casket, a jar (say if you have a gooey sentinel) or some other form of containment unit. The sentinel doesn’t have to be able to fit in the container at full size, but you have to be able to keep the sentinel inside some form of container.

A lone rook sits poised at the edge of a cliff, sword drawn, eyes open. Against him, an army, its size near unfathomable. The rook smiles.
If only it were a fair fight.
