Sure, I smell them on the outskirts, but it's so much stronger the closer I get to the center." The small cat shivered. "I mean, it would be fun to know my neighbors, but it's a huge group, so I'd rather keep my skin safe and sound--well, mostly--on the outskirts. I've heard stories from my parents," she warned the other.

Foxpaw backed off, nodding, though not completely understand still. "Well alrighty then..." She meowed, before her ears perked. She swore she heard a voice speaking an another answering; familiar too. Maplepaw? What is he doing with some unknown cat? She thought, starting to pad in the direction of the sound.

Moon's ears flicked back as she inhaled. "You're right. Nice sense of smell you have there, my friend." She began to pad back in the direction of the barn.

"Thank you." He purred, padding after her.

Arriving back to the barn, Moon stretched and laid down in a patch of sunlight.

Maplepaw sighed in relief that his clan mates didn't see him yet. He plopped down in a hay bed and rested his head.
