So is it true that the Germany = Holy Roman Empire theory has become canon? I always thought it was true, because:
-they look alike (same hair, same eye color…)
-their personalities are alike
-chibi Germany isn't mentioned anywhere
-something Chibitalia said to Holy Roman Empire really made me think it was Germany
-the Holy Roman Empire was in about the same place Germany is now

I actually used to think they were supposed to be the same character…

Not only is it historically accurate, but it was sooo hinted at in Chapter 12: How Germany Came to Be in Hetalia: World Stars. I dunno, man, but I think Himaruya made it very obvious in this chapter. I mean, I always thought that they were the same person, bit every time I said it might be, people always shot me down and said that it really wasn't v n v Like, I can go on and on about why I think this, but I'll save you the trouble, and I won't.
