Hawk waded into the water like Spottedstar had done. An icy chill ran down his spine as the cold water surrounded him. He moved his paws through the water and managed to get to the other side. His fur was all messy and soggy, and he gave a few swift licks to try and neaten up his pelt.

Moon lay on a tree lazily, enjoying the sun on her back. She probably should be hunting, after all, she hadn't eaten in a little while. With a regretful sigh, she let herself carefully drop to the forest floor before inhaling the scents in deeply. Mouse to the right, she though, moving in such a was so that the mouse couldn't smell her before attacking and killing it. She felt sorry for the thing as she crept up into another tree to eat her meal, which would sustain her for long enough. After all, all she really needed to do was hunt to feed herself, so she could really just nap for a little time every day in the sun... It wouldn't hurt.

Moon finished her meal before hopping down from the tree. She best start heading home. She began to pad slowly towards the abandoned barn that served as her home, looking around the forest and just enjoying Greenleaf. She shuddered, remembering the most recent Leafbare. That had been a nightmare. She had barely made it through, and if it hadn't been for Sun, her brother, giving up his life to feed her and their other sister, Star, she'd be dead. Star died anyways from Blackcough, and she hadn't been able to do anything about it. So now it was just her, on her own.
