Fernpaw's wound was still bubbling and her eyes started to close her breathing was harsh and ragged

She padded out of the medicine cat den holding cobwebs, marigold and poppy seeds. She chewed the marigold into a poultice and put it on the cobwebs before wrapping the cobwebs around her wounds. "Eat these" she said, holding the poppy seeds

"No!" Mosspaw gently shook her sister and called to the medicine cat is there anything I can do? She can't get hurt!"

"Right, honey." Mosspaw scampered to the medicine den where a small comb of honey was kept. After breaking of a piece she gingery held it in her mouth running back to Fernpaw.
