magnificent beast, one of the earth's few giants...and it is here,
in the remote rural forests of alaska, where the human may have
such a privilege, or maybe not so much. the moose is a territorial
giant, who doesn't hesitate to charge anything that posses a threat.

importantly, food. the wolves do anything they can to get
food in the harsh terrain of alaska, and moose are no exception.

august is the beginning of the end
for the alaskan summer. while still
warm, august tends to be the start
of the rainy season. the days in august
are getting shorter but you can still
expect anywhere from 14 to 17 hours
of daylight.
it is a breezy august afternoon, and the
forests are filled with life...
wolf mating season is january, but wolves
can select their mate before january.
moose mating season is september and
october.
alaskan wolves typically eat salmon in
august, as salmon are bulkier and more
meat is offered.
moose eat vegetation. land vegetation
does not provide enough sodium, so
moose often resort to eating aquatic
plants.
alaskan wolf are often gray, black
or white, but usually consist of a
mix of colors.

Roku Matt-son, at your service here.
Behind the Name: Roku was what my mother named me, after all, I was the firstborn of her sixth litter. As for the other part of my title, you could call it, simply enough, a common wolf by the name of Matt is my sire.
A Step into My Past: Matt, my father, was the leader of a decent sized pack. He had fought for the position, and defended it furiously. Therefore I grew up watching violence. My mother had been exiled from her previous pack, after having her fifth litter of pups, and was half starved, and freezing, when Matt and his pack came across her. She lived in their pack, as a hunter, for about a year, before Matt started to show an interest in her. And they fell in love, and had a litter of pups, me as the firstborn. For a little while, we were a happy family, sort of, I was obviously the strongest pup, and flaunted that, then an illness hit our pack. It killed most of my family, my mother, and all of my siblings, as well as most of the weaker of the pack. I was watched over by a nice female, who had recently had pups, so I didn't die.
As I grew, Matt started to get weary of me, until finally he kicked me out of the pack. I wandered around for a bit until I found this area, and settled down here.
Me, Myself, and I: A little bit about my personality, you ask about? Well, I guess I am responsible, but a bit lost in some areas of life, as in I have no idea how to be romantic, what flirting is, or being a leader. I have been told I am funny and sweet, when I'm not being strict and hardheaded. I personally think I'm understanding… that's probably me lying about my own personality though.
Love Life: heh…… heh…… this 'love life' is pretty much nonexistent. I'm going to be forever alone *sobs,* but really, though, you'd expect an almost friendly, definitely not good-looking, wolf like me to be attracting all the ladies. But sadly, apparently life doesn't work like that, anyways, I guess I'm sort of too busy for a love life, right…?

Personality: Feathers is a hyper one. She loves to hunt and serve for her wolf friends. She would do anything for them, even her mate and pups if she gets one. Feathers hates to fight, though she is a good fighter herself. She is really a kind, daring, and cunning wolf.

History: As a pup, Bird was an aggressive wolf pup. She would always fight with her siblings, showing them who was boss. As she grew older, her aggression grew more. Eventually, she will her her oldest brother Wren. Realizing what she had done, she ran away, far from her family and known territory for 1 1/2 years. Now scared for her sake, she became soft and quiet, changing her name to Feathers to represent kindness. Now wondering in these lands, looking for a pack to join.
