Flutterlings are a small species of bat, ranging in size from 3-5cm. Their diet consists of fruit and insects, and they live in caves and forests, in small nests constructed from twigs and leaves. Unlike most bats, flutterlings are awake and active in both day and night. They are very aware of the spiritual world, and exist to watch over a being or object that is meaningful to them. However, they are also tricksters, taking pleasure in annoying those that they are close to.
