monado has this thing called "arts". they're basically special abilities that he can use, to help himself or others.

-Purge
The colour of his eyes turns light green upon activation. Ether particles are charged into his body, thereby allowing Monado to send a wave of ether particles to the enemy from afar. This art will inflict the enemy with aura seal, which temporarily dispels the enemy's spike and aura activation abilities. It also remove the enemy's aura when the attack hits the enemy.

-Speed
Monado's eyes turn dark blue upon activation. This allows him to move faster, raising his evasiveness.
