He smiled before he heard the warning, his face changing dramatically. His faced showed fear but soon turned into mixed feelings, his stomach dropping. " S-Sandstripe, the kits are coming " He said almost breathlessly.

He stared at him in surprise, not sure weather to feel excited or worried. At the moment he was trying to speak, a deadly familiar scent filled his mouth and nose. "Fire..." He whispered, his eyes wide.

Graystar meowed, "come on Italy, hurry!" He ran back to where the yowl was first heard, passing Mothtail on the way.

Friskypelt nodded, chasing after the larger tom.
