I hate to correct both of you, but Cross Stitch is actually a hybrid, so both assumptions are wrong in his case :)
If you want to generalize his species I'd prefer "canine" but I really don't care either way

I'd also appreciate no more arguing, all this negativity is bad for the pups and I find it extremely awkward. Correcting each other is one thing, taking it too far is another. And before anyone replies to this notice with another hate post, I'm just gonna say doing so will only go to further my point

I get really touchy about how people perceive characters. I swear I nearly started a full-on war just because I thought someone was an idiot for not realizing how real characters were. This is a subject I swear I am going to explode on someone sooner or later.
