Eaglestripe flinched, smelling something burning, not far from here. He kept sniffing the air, fear rising up in him.

Allistor stiffened as well, opening his mouth to catch the scent of smoke and ash. "That smells not suppose to be here!" He said nervously, having a good guess on the source of the foul Oder.

Tinyfrost crouched to the grounded and sniffed the air. His ear flicked skeptically before standing to his paws. The smell was familiar, but not common. A look of alarm flashed upon the small tom's face.

"there might be a fire from what ive detected, Earlgray, get back in the hole, ill go warn every one else!" Eaglestripe meowed nervously. He ran out into the forest, yowling a warning signal too the cats near by.

Ravenleap heard the call, his ears pricked up In alarm.

Mothtail's ears perked up at the sound of an alarmed yowl, before picking up the scent of the smoke. She immediately yowled in reply to warn anyone near her and passed the message along.

Allistor paced back and forth where Eaglestrip had left him and Earlgrey, tail lashing. "What do we do? We can't stay here. What if the fire reaches us first?"

Eaglestripe panted, he grunted, keeping running around. He sighed then let out a very loud yowl.

Graystar meowed, "come on Italy, hurry!" He ran back to where the yowl was first heard, passing Mothtail on the way.

Mothtail immediately followed Graystar, fur bristling. "Graystar, what are we going to do? The cats who aren't in the camp probably don't know of the fire yet if they haven't heard the alarm."

"We will round up as many cats as we can. Then we will have to find a way to protect ourselves." Graystar meowed, a bit of fear in his tone of voice.
