Blaze nodded. "I'm in it too... And I know Token and Fallen, are, too." She then looked at the egg, thinking, When are you going to hatch, I wonder?... Maybe you'll take a part in the contest too.

Paragraph Where you see pokemon: I laid in bed, to confused to sleep. Charmandar, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, oh so many to choose from! But all my tossing and turning and thinking had made me tiered, and I fell asleep. I woke up to the dawn light filtering through my window. I jumped out of bed and through on some clothes. I raced down the stairs and out the door, ignoring the growl in my stomach. I got to the lab and through open the door. I raced to the pokemon balls where professor Frostino was standing. "Can I just choose one?" I asked hurriedly. "Please." I added. "Sure." he said chuckling. I reached down and closed my eyes. i felt around and picked one. It popped open to reveal a beautiful Charmandar. "YES!!" I screamed, throwing my arms around the charmandar. "Char char!!" he protested. My hair came out of the experience charred indeed. I asked the Charmandar what he wanted his name to be and he said, "Char-Char!!" like he always does, so that became his name.

Paragraph Where you see pokemon: Today was the day. The day I'd get my first Pokémon ! I skipped out of my house in a flurry of movement and nearly tripped on the doorstep. After regaining my footing, I decided that maybe I should take it a bit slower. The lab wasn't that far from my house and I made it there in record time. As I neared the front doors, I pulled my hair into a loose ponytail and took a deep breath. This was it. With a spring in my step, a walked into the lab and was blown away. It was amazing! I stood a bit awestruck, my mouth hanging open, but snapped out of it when something bumped my hand. I turned to see a rather large Pokémon, a...Stantler I think, pushing it's nose into my hand. I bent over and scratched his head as I mumbled to him. "Hey there dude. What are you doing?" I looked around for an assitant and found one. "Excuse me Miss." I called and walked up to her, the Stantler following me. "Um.." I wasn't quiet sure what to say, but I continued uncertainly."I..I was wondering if I could possibly..have this Stantler?" I asked and shuffled my feet.

I nod. "Magenta and Star will do great! I know it!" I say and keep walking, soon seeing the Contest Hall building.

"Thank you so much!" I said happily, taking the Pokedex and Pokeballs from the attendants hands. "I'l call you...Lau." I said to the Stantler and it voiced it's approaval with a Stan-Stantler and a shake of his head. "Let's go!" I said and jogged out of the lab, Lau close on my heels. I wonder what there is to do. I thought to myself as I jogged along. "Let's go look for some other trainers." I said to Lau. He snorted in agreement.

Blaze simply followed, and noticed Token suddenly getting a bit nervous. He doesn't like too much attention... She speculated, and then her gaze turned to Fallen, who seemed to be anticipating everything.
