Java plug-in needs permission
If you see a message within Chrome that says Java(TM) needs your permission to run, you will need to respond to the Chrome options in order to run plug-ins on the page. Options vary according to the version of Chrome.

Chrome plug-in blocked icon (in address bar) [This is the page with an X thingy by the bookmarks star. -B]
Look for the blocked plug-in icon in the Chrome address bar. Clicking on the icon will display Plug-ins were blocked on this page and plug-in options

Click Always allow plug-ins on [name of site] to allow plug-ins (including Java) to run on all this site's pages.
Click Run all plug-ins this time to allow the plug-in (including Java) content on the page to run only until you leave this page.
Click Continue blocking plug-ins to prevent plug-ins from running on the page.

Hopefully that fixes it!

Okay so I downloaded the java thingy but whenever I go to the oekaki it says its "Blocked by settings" and it says something about chibipaint. So I searched chibipaint & downloaded it and still nothing. The settings don't say anything about it either though??

Please help!

Sorry for the confusion, Polor! But I'm glad it worked! ^^;;

Make sure Java is allowed to run in your browser: http://java.com/en/download/help/enable_browser.xml
And that you're using V2: http://www.chickensmoothie.com/oekaki/settings.php
Additionally, you don't need to download Chibipaint. ^^; It might be beneficial to get rid of it, really, because it sometimes interferes with the Oekaki and causes script errors.

And that you're using V2: http://www.chickensmoothie.com/oekaki/settings.php
Additionally, you don't need to download Chibipaint. ^^; It might be beneficial to get rid of it, really, because it sometimes interferes with the Oekaki and causes script errors.

If that doesn't work, set up an exception (this is also for you, Aizui):
Control panel (Mac: Applications) > look/search for Java > Security > "Add site exception" > Add; in the little bar thing, type: "http://www.chickensmoothie.com" (without the quotes) > OK > OK. Restart browser.

this issue is still present. I uninstalled java completely and then re-stalled it, I can't figure out the problem here. Maybe there really is a coding issue. If so could someone please let me know how to fix it?

I have done both of the ideas requested. Now there is another issue. Its says there is an issue with the script. I posted a picture of what is said below:



If I press continue the same original problem occurs.

Everything seems to load fine using Firefox and Java (which are updated) the only problem is once its loaded (and the picture appears) a warning box appears saying, before this box appears everything is functioning.

at this point I click "continue". Then it shows me Oekaki, I can move my mouse around and I can hover over the File Edit Layers etc. tabs however the drop-down boxes that appear have no text (its just gray). I also cannot draw or click on anything.

Right now I am running on OS X Lion with 10.9.3 version (maverick) I also have Firefox updated to 31 and Java updated to 7.
--Just tested my JTablet and its functioning normally, and is updated.

Then when I click on debug script it comes up with this screen. It seems that Firefox found the issue, the only problem is that I don't know how to solve it. Any ideas?

@Aizui: Alright... and you don't have chibipaint installed on your computer, correct?
It causes script errors, that's the only thing I've been getting in my research in how to fix it. ^^;
Unless Draca has any other ideas, of course.

Possible lag; clear your cache, see if that helps. :) Or try connecting to the Internet with a cord; if you're using a wireless signal, it might be getting slowed down by something.
If necessary (like, it can't be saved at all), you can take a screenshot of your work and post it in the Art Galleries board to display.
