The yellow markings are to signify "three captured mounts".
The pink shoulder dots are to "pray for hail to fall on the enemy".
The blue nose stripes are a "count of war honours".
The green lightning symbol on her leg is for the "God of offensive war".
The last marking, the blue wavy line with purple dots, that is a special marking known only to Dancer and her rider, it shows the story of how they first met. The blue line represents the river that Dancer almost died in, and the four purple dots represent the four fires that helped save her life.
