This was chosen upon by the admins as it keeps things clean and straightforward. If every user didn't read the rules there would be so much for us to clean up and it's unfair to the admins who decided to open up this contest to the public.

Remember this is the artist contest. That means you must be able to make designs created by you. Copying designs from already existing characters, whether they're your character or not, can and will get you disqualified along with a strike. These entries, of your own creation, are what qualify you for the contest.

I meant, what if i made a teen row for example? Could i make an adult version of them, or would that count as another entry? Can i make a simplified version of a complicated design, or would that count as another entry?

Okay so I was right about the part about 'growing' xD. That would be a separate entry (as neat as I think it would be to see some growth examples, we want to keep things simple for this contest as we are not hiring growth artists, just regular artists). If I'm understanding correctly about the complicated design vs simplified, then that would also count as two entries. Even if the designs are similar, with one just being more complex, they would still technically be different.

Getting a tablet soon, so I'll enter after it comes in the mail. :3 I need tablet practice anyway, besides I love this species, and also the idea of being able to keep one of my entries, has made me want to enter this competition. So badly, I tell you. XD. I wish the mouse to my computer was easier to use, or I'd enter right now!
