The Basics
Our aim is to breed, produce and sell Sports ponies, which are capable across all disciplines, although our main focuses are eventing, showjumping, and dressage. We do this by focusing on six main characteristics.
These are-
CONFORMATION-
Conformation enables a horse to perform more easily, and stay sound.
The ideal conformation for a pony is:
Clean, blemish free limbs.
The outline is general looks blended and workmanlike.
The head is in proportion to the rest of the body.
The neck is muscular and well proportioned.
Eyes a good size and well set, and ears suitable size and positioning.
Topline naturally convex, with a sloping shoulder.
Deep chest, with plenty of heart room.
Forearm longer above than below knee, and hard flat knees.
Short straight cannon bones, and sloping pasterns.
Straight back, and muscular quarters.
PACES-
Paces encompasses rhythm, tempo, impulsion, and true quality of paces.
Rhythm is the regularity and evenness of steps, and should be maintained along both turns and straight lines. Tempo is the speed of the rhythm. Impulsion is energy created by the hind legs, and is the horse's 'engine'. Paces should be elastic and free, without stiffness or one sidedness, with the pony overtracking.
SCOPE-
Scope refers to a pony's ability to easily clear obstacles. A pony should have good form over a fence, jumping fluently, with good bascule. They should jump happily, and easily, with both front and hind feet lifted clear over the fence.
TEMPERAMENT-
Temperament is crucial. A pony will be far happier if they are comfortable and willing within their job, and will be a pleasure to have around. Ponies should be kind and intelligent.
STAMINA-
Stamina allows a pony to work consistently and comfortably, without tiring easily.
SPEED-
Speed is the rate at which a pony can comfortably move.

Statistic Points
Points are the basis of everything. they are the crucial elements of breeding and competing, and can be improved though training.
-Conformation
-Paces
-Temperament
-Scope
-Stamina
-Speed
Points count in competitions, with different skills important for each discipline.
DRESSAGE-
1. Paces
2. Conformation
3. Temperament
SHOWJUMPING-
1. Scope
2. Stamina
3. Conformation
EVENTING-
1. Speed
2. Paces
3. Stamina
In order to decide the placings, the points are a multiplied by 1.25 for the first skill, 1 for the second, and 0.75 for the third.
When breeding the individual stats of the dam are added to those of the sire, and then divided by two, with a minor random element of 0.5 either way.
This gives the foal stats.

Breeding & Training
Training
Ponies can be trained once per week, to add 0.5 point to a skill.
Foundation ponies will have 35 skill points distributed. Customs will have 40.
In order to train, post with the horse, and skill to be trained in. Alternatively, post on the DA group, where you will receive a 0.1 bonus.
Breedings
Breedings will cost any one rare, and can only happen between a mare and a stallion. You must have permission if you do not own the stallion - this can be in the form of a quote.
