Why Do You Want to be Archivist I love this species, the community and the people. I have been looking for a way to help and this is the best way I know I can contribute. I'm not an artist, I have mod duties I need to focus on on other threads, but I've done archiving, I know I can do this. I want to be the Archivist to help this species and contribute as much as I can to the running of this species. I also enjoy archiving so this is perfect for me!
How many hours per day are you able to work? week days it depends usually I can do it 5-6 hours weekends I'm on 10+ and I'd I had to to get out working I'd get on even when I should be sleeping to get it finished and keep up with it. On Thursdays I have extra time due to my English class
What Can You Bring to the Table? cooperation, I can take criticism and if I'm doing something wrong or something that isn't liked I'm quick to change it. I never have a bad attitude towards fellow community members or staff. I'm good at having people pm me to let me know something is wrong or a name or ownership has changed. I am a team player. Archiving is my strength and I won't let you down.

I love this species and really want to help out more. Plus I adore organizing things.

How many hours per day are you able to work?
5+ Depends on the days I have work. But Im on everyday.

What Can You Bring to the Table?
Im very organized and update things pretty quickly. I love making suggestions and happy to help bounce ideas around. I dont tend to mini-mod, but I can politely let whoever it is know whats the problem or attempt to help them if needed. Im pretty easily going so I can take criticism well. Im on like everyday, so if anyone needs to talk or anything they can just throw a message my way.

Why Do You Want to be Archivist I'm eager to help out in this community. As far as I can see, everyone here is so nice and helpful, and I'd love to get in on this! I want to help out, to leave my mark on CS, and I think at least being a small part of Makos would help me achieve that goal. uvu
How many hours per day are you able to work? Every day, I'm on from eight am to nine pm, so thirteen.
What Can You Bring to the Table? I'm very responsible - or so I've been told. Although my room and backpack are messy, I find that I'm very organized on the computer. I'm also a strict rule-follower, and I hardly go against the grain for a species unless absolutely necessary. I'm pretty certain I could keep a well organized archive, and if I have the time, I'll also try to make an art archive. nwn I want to do everything in my power to help improve the Mako community, and I feel this is just one small step to achieving that goal.
Extra (Anything else?) Although I don't have any hands on experience, I think I'm eligible for the job because I found that a lot of the characteristics you require for the archivist, I am. nwn I wish my fellow applicants good luck!

Experiences I am currently working on the archives for the splits species. Splits are a much smaller species, with less activity, so the archives are smaller than the makoatl species archives would be. However, I think that the skills required are the same - coding, organization, activity, and communication. The only difference is that for makoatls, I would likely split the archive up with different sections for Nursery, Custom/Semi-Custom, Regular, and perhaps store adopts?
Do You Have a Skype? yes, although I am not comfortable sharing it here. If I were to get the position I would gladly give it to you via PM. The rest of staff is welcome to it as well, but I don't really want all of CS to see it right now xD
Why Do You Want to be Archivist I would really love to be involved with this species somehow. My makoatl are some of my favorite characters, and it would really fulfill a dream of mine to help you guys out!
How many hours per day are you able to work? Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are definite, and online availability would pretty much be all day. Tuesdays and Thursdays I am also available, but usually later in the day, although sometimes I have homework these nights. The only iffy days are Saturday and Sunday, but even these days I at least come online via mobile (like now).
What Can You Bring to the Table? I was once a newbie helper and then a moderator on a dog breeding and agility site with many thousands of active members. (I can provide the site's name upon request but due to issues with staff I quit after a year and a half of work - as a hint I'm fairly certain we were both on the site together, Cole) I am familiar with heavy workloads. I also have good communication skills (and writing skills when I am not on my mobile as I am now) and am not afraid of going to other staff members or regular members when necessary for my job. I am pretty skilled with CS coding; I will gladly provide examples from adoption applications. I know how to make the archives easy to read and search through. I also have a lot of time to make certain that every single detail stays up to date. I don't mean to sound cocky, but I am confident that the abilities I have make me an excellent candidate for the position. I have been with the species since the beginnings and am very passionate about it. I think I would be an asset to your team.

Because I love doing archives. Not sure why, but I love them.
How many hours per day are you able to work?
I have school Monday through Thursday. Monday/Wednesday 4-9, Teus/Thurs 6-9. I can work before then, and after those times. I am also able to check my CS/Skype frequently to keep up-to-date. I am free Friday-Sunday.
What Can You Bring to the Table?
I am very helpful when it comes to problems and helping with them. (You can ask Sixbane for confirmation about that) I also will be able to keep the archive up to date.

Why Do You Want to be Archivist
I would like to be the archivist because I love these species and I really want to help out in some way.
I've been with the mako community ever since V.1 and I own one of the very first Makos, so I want to
somehow show my thanks. I also love archiving, and I would love to archive for Makoatls.
How many hours per day are you able to work?
On weekdays, I am online for at least 2-4 hours, and on weekends I'm on at least 3-5 hours.
What Can You Bring to the Table?
- I Understand all CS' rules.
- Has a lot of previous experience.
- Knows many users in the community.
- Always online unless said beforehand.
- Doesn't have any PM roleplays so nothing gets cluttered up.
- If any help is needed (guest judging, events), I am always willing to help.

Hi I'm BrightHeaven, and I've been around CS for three years now. I've probably been active
around oekaki and the forums for about two years. I honestly love everything about this site,
the people and the unique adopts. I love drawing, working with both BBC and HTML codes
and developing characters.
What do I expect of the other staff members?

What will I do once I'm hired?

I will first ask about details, what to do/what not to do, then get started on the archive as
soon as I can. After it is set up, I'll check the main thread very often and update the archive
every 2-4 days.

Experiences
I don't have much online archivist experience, but in my last job I was an administrator and filing officer. As well as this I was responsible for updating the phonebook and the staff information over time. I feel that this would translate over into this position really well.

Not yet, I am happy to make one though. I have just never needed one.
Why Do You Want to be Archivist
Makoatls are my favorite species, I would love to do something to benefit them, plus it would be a task I would enjoy. I would honestly love to be a moderator for the species, but I feel being involved even with the archives would be a good step to proving myself as a useful member of the community.
How many hours per day are you able to work?
It depends on my hours most weeks, but never less than 2-3 hours a day, usually more. On average probably 5-6 hours a day. Plus I have constant access on my phone or ipad so if an issue pops up I can usually get a reply out very quickly.
What Can You Bring to the Table?
I feel I am a good person to work with, I am always happy to try new things and to make changes to find something that works. I am as swift at possible about replying to PM's, but I will always make sure to check information if I'm not sure. I am a decent coder, and I like the way the archives are currently done, this means I am happy to stick with the system that is already in place.

I would rather have an ask for most name related queries, I feel that it is an easy way to control things, of course I would keep my PM's open for those who can't contact on that site.
