He nodded, padding to a good hunting ground not far from where they where at the moment. Graystar scanned the area, he spotted a flash of white, narrowing his eyes, following its movements.

He looked at him for a moment before lifted his muzzle in the air to scent the prey. Many forest scents filled his mouth and nose. He purred for a moment before locking his gaze on a sparrow.

He crouched down, Graystar stalked up close to the rabbit who had stopped to eat. Graystar got as close as he could, then leaped at it, holding it down and bitting its neck. The rabbit went limp and Graystar raised his head.

He smiled, "Nice catch." He purred softly as he watched the sparrow intently, waiting for the right time to pounce.

"Thanks." He responded. Graystar picked up the rabbit and watched as Friskypelt did his catch.

He took a step closer, accidentally stepping on a small twig. The bird cocked it's head and took flight, "No!" He yelped, darted towards the bird, who was already airborne. He leaped upwards, batting his paw, claws unstheathed, at the bird. He managed the drag it down by it's tail feathers. He nipped its neck, causing it to go limp. He sighed and picked it up. He mostly thought he was trying to impress Graystar.
