Sadly, I was no able to save Ice and he died today :( At least he was able to spend his last days in a big clean tank with food (even though he didn't eat it) and light. RIP Ice, over the rainbow bridge you will have water as far as the eye can see! You were very loved and you will be very missed. I'm so sorry I couldn't save you :'( <3

Did you cycle it?: Yep
If possible what are the ammonia nitrite and nitrate levels?: I'm sorry, I can't get that right now.
What is the issue or question?: When I checked on my fish yesterday, I noticed that one of my corys seemed to have a bite mark taken out of him. It wasn't bleeding, but it still looked painful. This particular cory, Robin, used to be one of the most active fish in the tank. Now, he is just laying there refusing to move unless I almost touch him with the net. (I don't, but I have to get close) Then he just swims a couple centimeters away, and sits there. His breathing is if anything, slower than normal. He doesn't follow my other cory, Lucah, around anymore.
Any other information?: At the beginning of summer, I had another cory in with Lucah before Robin. This cory, Dakota, died in almost the same way. She was fine all day, I walked in in the evening, and she had a large bloody hole in her side. She just kinda floated around, and died the next morning. The wounds look almost the exact same on the two fish. When Dakota died, I took out any scratchy and sharp items (There was like one). I didn't think this would happen again. Also, I have been on vacation for two weeks. My fish-sitter didn't clean the tanks at all, and the algae got so bad that you couldn't see into the tank. I did a really good cleaning last night. Also, I moved Robin into a breeder net in my tank to keep the wound from getting any worse. This morning I put in aquarium salt and a stress coat. What else can I do for Robin, and do you think Lucah is the one killing off the smaller corys? If so, how can I stop this?

Keep watching the wound. If you have any pictures, that would be great. Has Lucah ever shown any aggressive behavior? Separating him from the others for a short period of time could help.

I can't get any pictures. Robin is laying on the wound. And not that I noticed, other than Kota. Do you mean Lucah? If it happens again, I will, however right now, I don't see a reason to separate him.

Just bought two apple snails the other day. So cute! They are just my little helpers. They're making the tank look clean as ever and they're so cute. Any name ideas? One's an albino, and one has a shell mixed with different shades of brown :P

Cories aren't aggressive fish and they are schooling fish, so I highly doubt your cory is killing the others.
I'd put my money on the guppies, since they can be nippy. Or, check your gravel. Cories are sensitive to sharp gravel.

Alright. The current gravel I have in there isn't sharp, I don't think. I will be changing to sand soon. Is there any way I can stop the guppies from nipping any more? And why do you think they haven't tried anything with Lucah yet?

Sooo... I dunno what's up with Robin. I just checked on him and he was laying on his side. When I checked to see if he was dead, he jumped right up and swam off. Today has been a day of half the time acting like he is moments from death, half the time swimming around and trying to get back in with the others.

True to Hens - Lucah might just be big enough that they don't mess with him. You did say that the others are smaller? (Indirectly, when you asked if Lucah might be killing off the smaller ones)
I don't know how to get the guppies to stop nipping. Sorry :/

Yeah. She is maybe twice the size of the others. And it's fine. I'll just keep watching the guppies.

Username: Fish out of Water
How many fish tanks do you have: Previously 4 now one.
Types of fish that you have: I have had one beta, and all the rest goldfish.
Your fishs' names: Azure (Beta, Female), Ham and Cheese (Goldfish, both male, decieced), Speedy (Goldfish, Male, Decieced), Pebbles (Goldfish, Male, lived 7 years), Bubbles (Goldifsh, female, decieced), Bessy (Goldfish, Female, 10 years old, alive and well, she is blind in both eyes, but is assisted by Wall-e). Wall-e (Goldfish, Female, alive and well, helps out Bessy by bumping under her head once we feed them, and they both swim to the top to eat. They naturaly taught themselves to do that.)
How long have you had fish: every year of my life! I have never lived a year without them.

Also if you have pictures of you fish we would love to put a link to them next to your name! If you have a tank with a lot of fish you are welcome to just put a picture of your tank. Please do not post the pictures on the actual forum since they do take up space; just the link will do (one or two small photos is okay) (Will post pictures later <3)
