Matthew awoke, saw Spiritfeather's tear and nuzzled closer. "Whats wrong mama?" He asked. "Is there anything that i could do to help you out and make you happy?"

Spiritfeather wiped the tear away. "it's nothing.' she said and nuzzled him back with a smile. She felt a bit hungry and stood, careful not to hit Matthew with her tail.

Matthew watched at the dragon stood up. "Where are you going?" He asked her, also standing up. "Can i come with you?"

Spiritfeather nodded but didn't say where because she didn't know yet. She walked a bit into the woods then started sniffing around. The scent of rabbit hit her nose and she dropped down into a crouch.

Matthew followed what Spiritfeather did. He narrowed his eyes and looked around. He saw a movement in the bushed, he stalked closer to it, making no sounds.

Spiritfeather was about to step forward but stopped. She watched Matthew silently and smiled.

Matthew smiled, he saw the rabbit come out, not knowing it was there. Matthew leaped at it, he sank his teeth into it and kept bitting it till it went limp. He turned back to Spiritfeather, rabbit in his mouth and a smile on his face.

Spiritfeather stood up and walked to Matthew. She licked a bit of the rabbit's blood of his cheek and purred. "Good catch!" she said proudly

Matthew beamed in pride. He then set down the rabbit and nudged is over to Spiritfeather. "Here you go." He said happily.

She picked up the rabbit and turned back the way they came. She stopped and waited for Matthew with a smile.
