Why She got the bandage: once upon a time when Zena was just a pup, she got her leg caught on a tree branch when she was just learning to fly. she came crashing to the ground in front of her panicking mother. After this incident she was never allowed to fly again, but she wouldn't listen to her mother, at night she used to practice her flying in secret until her mother finally saw her out one night. once she had seen how good she was getting and how much she loved flying she gave her another chance.

Yes, I sayd I would edit the form, but I decided to just post one again. First of all I think its easier for to recognise it, and second, I decided to change even the gender, so it will most likely be a new form.

Why this one?
Because I love its design! Now even more, that the heart marking got a meaning for me. I will explain this, when I tell you about the name I chose now.
Another reason for this one, I love winged wolfs. He might get part of a winged wolf pack with my other winged wolf characters like Feather, Schattenjäger, Fanny, Heaven (#2), and this unnamed boy (the fire-cheetah one, didnt find a name that really suits him...). Maybe I wont be able to get all of them in a story together, since I would love to put him in the world of Falos, I came up with in a tryout for another character in an adoption center. I will put a quote of Falons history in his history.
And it has a lion tail. Yes, Im nearly obsessed by lions...

I decided to name him Amato now. I think it fits to his heart marking. Why this name? Well this requires a little story about me.
Im working at a vets office. Im making an apprenticeship there to get an animal keeper. Once a woman came to our vets office with her two collie pups. I have to say here, that collies are nearly my favourite dog breed (nearly, because I cant decide between them and czechoslovakian wolfdog). I fell in love with those two right away. The owner said that one of them would still be searching a new home. I wanted nothing more than to give him a new home. Yes, this pup was named Amato. I tried to convince my parents, and they even met him once. He was already nearly grown up then. I hoped he could make them fall in love with him as much, as I fell for him. He couldnt.
My parents didnt allow me to get this dog. But the owner didnt find any other place for him, so hope never died. Never died until monday. Our vet told us in the morning, that he died at night. It was a real shock for me. This could have been my dog. And he was only 13 months old. So since I would love to keep the memory I have with him alive, I decided to name this wolf Amato.

Since Amato is bold, he is always up for adventures. He gets bored quite easily. Being alone is also not his favourite thing. Who could be impressed by his bravery, when no one watches him? Having others around makes him feel useful, gives him strength to fight against any danger and allows him to make jokes. He loves to so. He can be very cheeky sometimes, but its never ment any bad. Its for cheering up others.
He is not the kind of a leader, but if no one else makes the decisions, he will do so. He isnt afraid of any task that he might have to do in his life. He is only afraid to fail. To fail in protecting somewone. This actually doesnt make him stop doing it. It makes him give his best. And you know, those horrible eight leged creatures, called spiders, are a real challenge to. But yeah, challenge accepted

History:

The world of winged wolfs, Falos, was hit by a dark force. It showed up as bird like creatures with nuge claws and teeth instead of a beak. Those birds took away the wolfs ability to fly, they took away their wings. All the pups born in this time where either born with useless wings or didnt survive the first weeks.
Evolution decided to give the wolfs something different. The first step was stumps with still a few feathers on them. The wolfs couldnt use them, but they survived. In further generations this stumps became sharper and helped the wolfs to defend themselfs. They where no longer made of bones, but some of crystal, some of wood, some of metal.
And then the day came, when the first light carrier was born. His wing stumps were made of metal, had the form of a sickle, and seemd to hold a light. The dark birds couldnt get close to this light. More and more light carrier were born, and protected the ones without it. The dark force lost its power and had to leafe Falos again. There were still some of the dark birds left, but their population got very small. So the first winged wolfs since generations were born again. They are still rare, but they returned to Falos again.

Amato was born as one of those rare winged wolfs. His mother was also a winged wolf, but his father was "only" a defender (what means his stumps were sharp and made of metal, but he had no light). They both were very happy about the son having wings. They always watched him carfully, since winged wolfs are rare. They wanted to teach him to be carefull, but Amato got bored. He didnt want to be safe all day. He wanted to go on an adventure.
He left his pack by earliest morning, and walked towards the river. Somewhere near the place his pack lived was a huge waterfall. He always wanted to fly down there. He was able to fly already, but not for too long. He knew, his parents would never allow it, so it had to happen right then. He flew over the river and started to nosedive parallel to the waterfall. He felt the drips of water while he could see the first shine of sunlight making the small lake below him sparkle. It was perfect. He corrected is flight direction in the right moment and made circles above the water. This had to be freedom at its best.
Suddenly a dark cloud appeard. It was actually a little to small for a cloud. He saw it a little to late. One of the last dark birds, itself not even close to a grown up, appeard. It missed Amatos wings but instead it bit in his leg. Amato was able to still fly away, and escaped to his pack. As soon as the little dark bird felt the presence of a light carrier, it let off and fleed. His parentes, already worried, where their son might have gone, were happy to see him alife. They put on a bandage. The one he still wears, because the bite of a dark bird left an awfully looking scar on Amatos leg.
Now his parents dont allow him to leafe the pack ever again without a light carrier on his side. So he will have to wait, until someone comes to pick him up. Maybe Endymion (if I win him) will pass by and start forming a new pack with him once.
