Why do you want this character?:
Just look at her. She is gorgeous. I loved her steampunk design, and the fur forest. And the gears on her side. She is very simple, yet unique. Her design captured my eye, and just.. I don't know. Her design is great.
Where will you use it, and what will you use it for?:
I actually have a steampunk roleplay in the works, and she would be a perfect main character, and the pet of my two characters. I will keep her as an OC, get art for her, write stories, and just have fun. I think she will fit in my group of characters, and I will promise to never let her collect dust.

Female

Personality:
Philosophy is a bit more on the timid side. She doesn't really talk much, and always, always has some sort of tool in her mouth, or around her. She's a mechanic. That way, Philosophy always delves into cars and fixing things up, instead of greeting other canines, or humans. Sure, she can be a bit.. shy, and squiggle away from situations, but inside of her she's a great leader. Though it may not seem like it, but she is.
Philosophy also, once you get to know her better, and become a friend, is very playful. She can crack jokes, and laugh nearly everything off. One thing she is skilled at, is balancing a tool at the edge of her nose. It may not seem like much, but for her, she loves to do that.
She will always be there for one of her friends, no matter what. Through thick and thin. If Philosophy likes you, then you've got a great buddy, that can bright the darkest of times with her casual calmness.
In tough situations, she won't crack, but rather stay calm, and collected. But then again, she doesn't really leave her garage and tools.
History:
Philosophy was born in a litter of three. Being the runt, she was, of course, the smallest. Two brothers and her. It wasn't easy. No sir. At a young age, others marveled at her coat colors, and her 'corset' on her fur. And her gears. Everyone thought it was quite odd. But then again.. her whole family was steampunk looking, so of course they got odd looks.
Quite early, Philosophy stumbled into the street. Scared and frightened from the cats, trucks, smells, and loud noises, she was about to retreat back home. Until a scent caught her nose. Unable to resist, Philosophy followed the trail. It was quite a while, but then she stopped at a garage. The car had parked, and out came a girl. She moved towards her box of tools, and that is where it started.
Sitting in the back, Philosophy watched, curious. The girl had slid under the car to stop the leakage. It took a while, but Philosophy still saw, and noted it.
After that, and the girl left for the night, Philosophy got her own try with the tools. At first, she broke a couple things, made noise, and often got too tired that she fell asleep beside the car. What a night. Until, in the morning, the girl came out.
Philosophy didn't know she had been caught, but the girl took her in, comforted her, brushed her, washed her, fed her, and Philosophy didn't have a bother on her. She stayed with the girl, and, after a long time, the girl started to teach her new found friend about mechanics.
Philosophy now works on cars for fun.
