I neigh nervously and nuzzle Horus, wondering what he will do.

Horus quickly nuzzled her back and then took a couple steps forward. He stood tall and stiff, his head high and his nostrils flared.

Shadow stared out into the distance spotting a large stallion with a mare. Was he posing a threat? His tail and head were high and his ears stood on end. He didn't show fear though, and continued grooming and nibbling with his mares.

As I see the stallion come into view, I hide a little behind Horus. She didn't want to be snaked.

Sun stopped for a moment and looked beyond. She saw another stallion. Sun walked away for a few minutes and walked closer to get a better view.

After grooming my mares, I stand tall and firmly wondering to myself, wondering when I should snake my mares. The mating season was coming to a close, so I had to either act fast or wait till next year. I decided now. I looked around. Who would be more open to me? I would probably wait to see who comes to him first. I neigh to my mares, telling them I want to mate, waiting to see who comes first.
