Hi there! Welcome to the Crystal Cove!
Crystal Cove is home to many aquatic creatures, such a fish, frogs, seals, and many others. Though Crystal Cove is predominately homed by creatures that are half cat and half whale. The scientists studying them still have not figured out how this combo is possible, but they're working on it. They have discovered that no two of these creatures are the same, and all have different patterns and designs. Oh! I never mentioned the name of these creatures. We've been calling them the Karris. Though their name sounds intimidating, they're quite cute!

General Rules
-be as kind as you can be here
-listen to staff, i hired them for a reason
-all designs are copyright their designers and owners
-art theft and design theft is not tolerated here
-do not complain if you're too late to get one
-do not quote yourself, even if your question wasn't answered, i read everything and will answer it
-staff release litters when they want to, do not demand litters
-spamming is not tolerated
-you get one verbal warning, which may go away with good behavior
-i have the right to readopt your Karris if the situation is severe enough

Adoption Rules
-first come first serve
-all designs are copyright their designers and owners
-art theft and design theft is not tolerated here
-do not complain if you're too late to get one
-you may put 'wip' in the name/gender, but you have to pm me when you have the name/gender
-the provided form is the correct form, do not change it or make your own
-please check recent posts before posting your form to see if that Karris is taken
-you may only adopt every other litter
-please do not edit forms
-staff do have the right to take a Karris from their own litter, do not complain about their rights
-reserving is not allowed
-fill out everything, codeword must be current/correct
-all rules apply to pound

Staff Adoption Rules
-you may ask to keep one from your own litter, it does not count as a custom but counts to your slots
-if you're adopting from another artist's litter, you will have to fill out the form like everyone else
-basically you follow all the same rules as regular adopters

Custom Rules
-you may not make your own customs [staff of course can]
-if your custom is based on anything, the artist will add more to the design to prevent copyright
-staff can reject your order if they want for any reason
-do not base your custom off of another Karris
-staff announce when they're taking customs and can have as many slots as they want
-there is a custom spell you have to purchase before ordering

Breeding Rules
-Karris do not have breeding organs and breed with magic so they can be mates with any gender
-both owners must agree to the breeding [does not apply if you own both]
-Karris cannot divorce after breeding
-owners of the parents get first pick if they want one of the babies
-you do not have to put the babies for adoption, you can gift/keep
-Karris have one, two, or three babies, and this is random unless you the right spell
-there is a breeding spell you have to purchase in the shop

Staff Rules and Perks
-artists, please make a litter as often as possible to keep this place going
-artists may answer questions only if it relates to their litter/customs
-mods, please do not try and answer questions you're unsure of, let me handle them
-please let me know if you're busy or can't make litters / answer questions for a while
-mods, you can give out warnings if needed, but you may not ban
-if you have a problem with any user that is posting here or adopting from your litters, please let me know and i will handle the situation as fit
-skype is required, so we can discuss events and new rules if needed or even just have fun!
-your crystals are unlimited, if you retire it will stay like this [unless stated otherwise], if you're fired you will have to pay for them like everyone else
-you get two extras custom slots
-you get your say in new rules and events, and even get to run a game if you want!
-you can make yourself a custom, mods send me a skype message for the lineart and i will happily send it over

-will never have dual colored eyes
-webbed toes
-tiny, un-see-able, but still extremely sharp claws
-same mouth as a house cat
-longer head fur [hair] is uncommon
-will never have different tails

-primarily live in water, hence the gills
-gills close up with on land
-they can be on land for 10 hours at the most
-sleep under water
-warm blooded, the fur keeps them warm in the water and is very thick
-don't have breeding organs
-live in groups of seven
-one breeding partner
-live for 30-50 years
-can breed three times

-breed through magic
-they posses magic but can only summon it through spells
-some spells are rarer than others
