Addie bounded up to the new dog. "Hello! The name's addie, and this," She flicked her curled tail towards the pitbull, "This is Apollo! Do you want to play?" She asked.

Emma nodded to both of them. "It's nice to meet you both. My name is Emma," she said. After the invitation to play, her tail started wagging a little faster, but she willed it to stop. "I'd love to play!

Apollo stood beside Addie, his bright pink tongue hanging out of the side of his mouth.

"Want to play chase, Emma?" Addie asked, seeing the other dog was excited to play. "Or we can please tug-of-war, I got a stick!" She said, looking Emma over.

Emma thought about her choices for a moment. "I think tug of war sounds great," she said, wagging her tail.

"I'm going to sit this one out, actually," Apollo said. "Falling repeatedly really took a lot out of me," he said jokingly.

Addie laughed. "I see how it is!" She said, flicking her tail and grinning. "I will go get my stick!" She said, racing to the other side of the park to get the long branch she had recently pulled from the tree. She dragged it back, dropping it at Emma's feet. "I got it myself!'' Addie boasted.

Matthew's owner car parked infront of the dog park. Matthew was barking crazy hoping to meet new dogs. His owner opened the car door and he bolted out

Emma looked down at the branch, then wagged her fluffy tail. "You really got this yourself? My owners hardly let me chew on sticks this big!" she said, a little awestruck.

Apollo watched Emma and Addie, choosing to lay down a few feet away. Close enough to watch them, but far enough away so he couldn't hear their conversation so well.

Brute ran in circles, he was a Aussie shepherd so he had a lot of energy, sensing a dog he waited by the gate, his tail thumping.

Dawn ran around with a huge branch in her mouth.
