"No, I'm not leaving you. We made a deal when we met, and that was to never leave each other behind," she said assertively, though she really did care.

Addie slowed and turned her head to the yipe. "You kay?" She said, not moving closer. She flicked her curled tail, still with a bead of blood, as she heard to dogs tramping into the park. More strays? She wondered.

I clucked to The Baroness and sat down, still holding out the treat. I searched in my pockets a little and brought out a small bag of meat. Mutt had whined and I gave him a small bit, holding some out for the two strays. "C'mere you, guys, it's safe." I talked calmly and Mutt lied down in peace.

Apollo managed to stand back up, freeing the dirt from his coat with a quick shake. "Yeah, I'm fine. I've experienced worse," he answered, offering a small tail wag as a form of assurance.

I looked back "fine then We will both go" I said as I flicked my ears to the smell of the treats and sound of the human's voice

Damon and Lucifer found a tree that held a good amount of shade for them. The two look alike brothers laid down panting slightly with their ears perked.

Addie curled her lips back in a toothy grin, and started running again. She kept to the fence, swerving around other dogs. She slowed down a bit, taking longer strides, muscles rippling under her furry pelt.

Robin's owner's walkie talkie blared, and Robin knowing what that meant, went over to him, and laid down, her ears perked.

I walked back to the park and past some trees where a couple of huskies were laying. I held my tail proudly as I glanced at the two and continued on, smiling and wagging my tail.
