Layer Testing-Volcano

Postby EccentricPresence » Thu Aug 14, 2014 10:54 am

This is my first drawing (that I did not use a color in for). Yes, I know it is horrible, but drawing with a mouse is hard >.<
I wanted to do something simple, because I do not have a steady hand when it comes to drawing with a mouse. I was mostly experimenting with layers, for they were previously confusing. Now I think I have got a slight grasp on it :)

I may make a few more based off of this to do further experimenting, but I am not sure. If you want you can give feedback.

Thanks and have a great day!
I have anxiety so if I don't respond right away or something I don't mean to be rude!

I think it's good for it to be a little shaky, because when you're dealing with rocky landscapes (such as volcanoes) it's good for it to be like that, because if it were to be perfectly straight it would look unnatural.

Also, this is a really great drawing! : D

Thank you, and yes, that is why I chose this type of landscape. I usually draw animals, but I decided on this so I could be as shaky as I wanted to XD
Thanks for your feedback :)

I like that alot... maybe adding a grayish sky and have the smoke kinda go on the rocks with the spray paint tool on round soft, it might look even better!

I tried making the sky grey, but I agree, it needs to be grayer. I made a new version based off of this by coloring it in. I hope you find that I have improved a bit :)
And thank you for your suggestions :D
