Not to bust Nex' bubble, but I've seen plenty of 'original' eyeless species of dogs, maybe they don't all look exactly like these, but very similar. Some are given out as giveaways and the like as well.

There are tons of eyeless species, both canine and not. If you've ever played Silent Hill, then you'll know the Sniffer Dogs. It's the best example I can possibly give. I never said the Trackers were the best thing since sliced bread though, so don't worry. Not everyone knows a lot of the made-up species that can be found on the internet, so if they think it's original, then I don't exactly see any problems in there. Besides, these were done for fun, no need to take things serious. (:
