Why do you want this animal? and What will you do for this animal?: I will take very good care for this character. I plan on writing a story with her in it, and even rp with her if I find a great rp. She will have a spot in my character thread, and I will be sure to get much art of her from my competitions and my own art too. Anita is to be a main character of mine so you will probably see her in my siggy a lot. I will never adopt her back out or let her collect dust for she will very loved. My dad saw this picture and he told me that he can make me a poster of her if I win her! I was looking through these donations and I saw her and she just stole my heart! I decided I would try out for this beautiful wolf.
Personality:Anita is not afraid of a challenge, and she won't back out of one. She is not the one to attempt to start fights, but if she must she will fight. She is somewhat of a risk taker, and tends to live out her life like it was her last day. She has a lot of energy, and it shows a bit too much sometimes but without an intention to. The time when she is the most fun and outgoing is when she is around her friends. Since she feels most comfortable to be herself around them than anyone else in her pack, and that they won't judge her because they love her for being herself. She is very open to her friends, telling them her deepest, darkest secrets and what she thinks of things. Anita also is protective of others that she loves. Including her close friends and Xavier her raccoon plushie. She would never ever let anyone hurt them in any way, whether it's emotionally or physically.
Likes and Dislikes: Anita loves to run! Since she just has so much energy, she can run far and fast without getting tired at all. She loves the sudden blast of cool wind on her fur as she runs full speed in the forest. She also loves Xavier, her albino raccoon plushie to death. It is a very important part of her life since it came from her parents who were murdered in a terrible fight. If she lost him, she would be extremely depressed, but Anita always has Xavier with her so she most likely will never lose him. She also loves her friends too, she can depend on them, and they help her through the hardest times and help her cope with the loss of her parents. Anita loves songs and she is an amazing singer, although she tries to hide her voice from others hearing it. She sometimes sings songs to herself, her parents had sang to her a lot as a pup so she is used to it and loves it so much. Anita also just loves the rain! The beautiful sounds it makes when it hits the every leaf on a tree, it just sounds so amazing to Anita.
Anita hates when other wolves make fun of her or are just plain rude. She does try to ignore it though, although in some cases it may be hard for her just to ignore it. She does not like when others bring up her parents, it is a very sensitive subject for her especially since she had lost them at a very young age and had not known them as much as she wished too. Anita hates humans, they hunt in their territory and take down their food and steal it for their own food. Also since humans come into their territory they have to move temporarily when they come around to be safe, and not to come in contact with a bullet. For Anita that would mean she would lose yet another family member.
History/Backround:When Anita was just about 6 years old, something terrible had happened and scarred her for life. Her parents had been killed in a fight. She could remembers the whole thing as it really impacted her life as a whole, Anita remembers the fight like it had just happened yesterday. Anita had been laying under a small bush where she had usually rested, hugging her raccoon plusie, Xavier who she had just received today as a gift from her parents. There were about 3 wolves, they were very muscular as she had remembered. They had appeared out of nowhere it seemed. They circled around her parents and started murmuring things to each other, although Anita could not make out exactly what they were saying. Anita heard them say something about a wolf pup, were they here for her? What was going on? Anita asked herself many questions and could not answer them, she was unaware of what would happen next. Her mother and father growled back at the three wolves, not wanting them to find Anita perhaps. Her mother and father probably knew what they wanted because they were barring their teeth, ready to fight at any given moment. When the first wolf made the first move and attempted to scratch one of them, the fight was on. No turning back, no escape, nothing but just to wait and have hope. Yelps of agony and growls of hate were exchanged, the cries of the wolves made her cringe. She shut her eyes tight so she could see nothing but blackness, she held Xavier up against her chest. Minutes later, the horrible fight was over. The wolves overpowered Anita's mom and dad, all hope was gone. They were dead, Anita felt a great hate for the three wolves that had done this. Everything was going on in her mind at the moment, she felt despair but at the same time knew her parents were still watching over her to make sure she was invulnerable. She knew there was a reason behind this, and it might have been her.
She was upset and shocked of what happened just a couple of minutes ago, but knew it was best that moved on incase the brutal wolves were to return. She wandered the woods all alone and cold from the wind that was getting colder every second. She whimpered and groaned with every step she took, her paws were feeling sore from walking the amount she had. She struggled to walk forward, her paws and neck aching. She was scared to death of what might happen next, since she had no where to go and had no clue where she even was at the moment. She sang a song to keep her going as singing songs always had helped her, the song was sad yet beautiful. Anita stumbled upon a clearing in the forest. She felt a great relief and perked up a bit. There was a clear, natural spring and a small waterfall was pouring water into it. She dunked her head in the cold water and took several, long gulps of the refreshing water. She nearly collapsed from her pain, and rested next to the spring. She was feeling the pain and aching in her paws going away as she tried to think of happy thoughts. Anita listened to her surroundings, in the tall, towering trees there were choruses of birds singing songs, she could hear the sound of the flowing water dripping from the rocks into the water and it was beautiful and calming. The sun was peering out from past the trees that were in it's way, shining down onto Anita's silky fur coat. She got up, as she felt better and looked into the distance of the forest and knew it was best to settle here for now. Anita wandered around curiously and found a large and sturdy tree nears the spring. The tree had huge branches that were close to the ground. She decided that it was a good tree to rest on for the night. She fell asleep on one of the branches and slept extremely well. She needed the good sleep too, because in the morning she would have to move on. When she woke up she wanted to swim in the spring. Anita backed up a few yards from the spring, ran full speed and jumped into the water. She swam around, enjoying the cool water soaking her fur. Anita jumped out of the refreshing water of the spring and shook her fur dry. She took one more good look back at the beautiful spring before walking off.
Her ears were perked up as she had to be very alert, and had listen to everything in her surroundings as something bad could happen at any second. Anita could hear voices conversing with each other, although she couldn't make out where the voices were coming from. She looked around and she figured out she could hear it the sounds the clearest when facing towards a patch of bushes. Anita's curiosity got to her and she decided to see what was making the noises. She dug up the ground under one of the bushes until she dug for about 15 minutes. Anita squeezed her body under the bush were she dug out most of the dirt, wondering about what she would do after she got out from under the bush. When she got out from under the bush she tried to stay hidden enough so she could quickly see who's voices they were without being noticed. With shock Anita could see that it was a pack of wolves. She did not know whether to approach them or keep her distance, they could be friendly or brutal and mean. It was too late to decide because one of the wolves that were laying down already spotted her. The wolf approached her cautiously, but in a friendly way introduced herself to Anita. Her name was Kihia and she was the alpha female of the wolf pack. Anita introduced herself and shared with Kihia what had happened to her. Kihia knew Anita needed a home now and she seemed like a very pleasant wolf. Kihia insisted her to stay with her and her pack. Anita accepted and was introduced to the whole pack who were excited to take her in. She knew she had a safe place to call home now. Anita got a lot of rest for the night, and woke up early in the morning. She explored the pack, and Kihia explained the different positions in this pack. Kihia told her that she would have to get a position tomorrow so she could start training with them. She was appointed to be a hunter, reason being her great agility and speed. Today it was going to be the first hunt she went on. It was an important day for her because of that, she had to show herself worthy. She trailed behind the other wolves, the hunters most consisted of boys. They were all very stealthy, the only noise you could hear was a crunch of a leaf under their paws every now and then. The lead hunter spotted a large buck not very far in the distance, and soon the whole pack of hunter saw it. They ran full speed to the buck, Anita taking the lead not trying to but because of her speed it was hard to stay behind. She and two others that were in the lead pounced onto the buck taking it down without a sweat. The hunter came back to the rest of the pack, dragging their kill behind them. The alphas and the rest of the pack were extremely pleased to see what they got.
Anita learned the ways of the pack and has lived with this pack for years now, and she had just turned 13. She was now a teenager, which made her very happy since the wolves won't call her kid anymore, which really annoyed her. Nobody had to treat her like a baby anymore, which she hated when some wolves did. Anita looked even more beautiful than before also, and her singing voice had improved. There were so many pluses of becoming a teenager, but there were also some disadvantages too. She was now expected to help more around the pack, including helping look after the pups in the pack, hunting more often, and more. She also had to worry about the few bullies in the pack, if they choose to pick on her for some pointless reason. Luckily they didn't bully her like they did to some of the others. When the bullies would pick on the other wolves, Anita always tried to step in the way. That stopped them for a while which made her fellow wolves extremely happy. Anita's life was just fine at the moment especially since she had family.
