i've never heard of that ship before @_@
but i don't ship it one bit , sadly
i know their opposites but canada and romano have never really talked or made physical contact in the anime
prucan is a ship that makes more sense , to me , at least
it would take me a while to explain every single detail why i ship it but <X"D
but the first time prussia met canada gilbird flew on top of canada's head and prussia started calling canada birdy after that
but other than that , prussia is a sucker for cute things , and we all know canada's a qt cx
since gil have a crush on italy , thinking he was 'cute' , but now germany and italy are a cannon couple now , according to the beautiful world uwu

No, GerIta is not cannon, Italy rejected Germanys proposal. But......
(Before this happened)
Germany though Italy loved him when Italy gave him red roses on Valentines day and to no o e else, also confessing he liked a guy once. So Germany got a manual to see if Italy actually liked him. He took him out to dinner at a nice restaurant and gave Italy flowers at first. Then gave him a tomato ring. Italy was freaked out and told him sorry, which made Germany angry.

Yah, i just explained 2 episodes in a nutshell XD
