story I - the garage sale
______________________________________________________________
Cressida was out for a lovely walk one sunny afternoon. Ambling slowly along the shoreline of the glimmering ocean, she looked down quite often, trying to see any trinkets she could find. Suddenly, a neon pink sign with bold black Sharpie writing caught the Plumerian's attention. The sign read, 'Garage Sale this Afternoon', with the address in smaller font underneath. 'Oh', the Plumerian thought to herself, 'I could go and find things to buy! I should really go.'
And so Cressida went to the garage sale, eager to find anything more to call her own. The signs lead her away from the shoreline, into the residential neighborhoods. Twisting and turning, religiously following the signs leading to her treasure trove of items, Cressida soon found herself staring upon one of the most beautiful sights she had ever seen. Multiple tables were set out, each filled edge to edge with incredibly wonderful loot. Cressida walked around, and stared in awe at all the trinkets and objects. A sparkly jewel here, a shimmering necklace there. She found a stunning journal, a beautiful painting.
After buying a massive amount of treasure, and a quite a few bags to lug them home, Cressida began to dash home as fast as she could, hardly able to contain her excitement. As she tried to navigate the vast residential area, Cressida quickly realized she had no idea where she even was, let alone how to get home. She walked along multiple roads, stopping and waiting at bus stops before growing impatient and wandering on. After what she could only assume to be multiple hours, Cressida stopped to sit in a phone booth, wondering what to do in this conundrum. 'Well,' she though, 'I could wait for a bus, but who knows if the bus would even get me home. I suppose I could call Cynthia, but I don't know where I am so she wouldn't be able to do anything. Maybe I should just wait and ask a passerby if they know where I am, and how to get back to the shoreline, at least. I can find my home if I know where the ocean is. Now I wait.'
For about another hour, Cressida sat in the phone booth, hoping someone would walk by. Suddenly, a gust of wind swept through the streets. A fluttering of paper sounded down the sidewalk, and a map tumbled into view. Jumping out of the phone booth, Cressida grabbed the map just as it flew past her, and took a long look at it. Finally knowing where she was and where to go, she finally started her trek home, eagerly anticipating getting home and looking again through her amazing new treasures.
story II - interaction with Cynthia and Cressida
______________________________________________________________
On quite a sunny day, two female plumerians strolled through the quite ever so docile streets of the suburbs. They had just came back from seeing a movie, one which they enjoyed to a reasonable extent. As they were walking back home, one of them had decided it'd be nice to relax at the beach. They both agreed, and began taking the route to one of the few beaches located near their homes. It wasn't a far walk from where they had started, and within minutes they arrived at their destination. Cressida was quite happy to be at the beach, however Cynthia looked overwhelmed by the amount of scenery in front of her: the water, shrubbery, sand, and the few people gathered around doing various things. She could smell the faint, nostalgic smell of marshmallows, and just to her left it appeared someone was having a bonfire. Looking towards Cressida, they decided to enter the forest, walk down the paths, and head into the water later on. By the time they finished, it'd most likely be nearly dusk, so they had plenty of time to spare.
As the two walked down the paths, they rarely talked. Most of it was gestures; pointing to various things, this and that, with no words used. Overall, by the end of it, they had enjoyed themselves. As soon as they came out of the forest, they went and swam for a short while, playing various games and having races with each other. Cressida won many of them, however, Cynthia didn't complain at all.
The sky was turning dark, so they decided to head back home to their flat. Upon walking there, they had gotten coffee and tea by a nearby coffee shop - Cressida getting her raspberry tea, and Cynthia receiving vanilla coffee, both their favorites. When they came back to their flat, they watched yet another movie together.
