Despite her family being considered 'exceptional' Marshmellow cats, Gwen and her younger brother were often ridiculed and put down because of their colors. Gwen protected her brother from the stares and comments and the insults until she became older. Her brother was born before she was older, and she adored him ever since. But soon, her mother Blizzard became deathly ill. Furious that her mother wouldn't live old enough until they had kittens of their own.. Not long after Blizzard passed away and Gwen had to look after her brother. She led her brother out one night for a hunting trip and a group of rogues attacked. Later, it turned out, that these cats were evil. In the fight Gwen was beaten badly, her ear slit and she was knocked unconcious. Her brother, Duke, was not so lucky. Because of his death Gwen believed she could not protect her family and that it was best not to love again.

♥ one day early morning Shattered woke up to her mother yelling at a chicken the chickens reply was simply "moo". Shattered paused in amazement then asked "Why does the chicken cross the road?". her mother replied "To moo at you". They both laughed at the silly jokes which weren't even funny. Then continued their early morning being bored. ♥
