xxxxI've always been really big on characters, and just all in all enjoying writing stories, so I was pretty ecstatic when i came across this place, because it seems like a place where you have a lot of opportunities to get characters. That aside, I really enjoy this character because of the simplicity of the design, along with the nautical theme, I'd use this character mainly for writing, as I really enjoy writing, but I believe it'd also be extremely fun to draw this character, given it's simple design.

I personally chose the name Archie, because I am an extremely avid pokemon fan, and with the Hoenn remakes right around the corner, I'm super excited for Saphire, as that will be the one I'm getting, and the main antagonist of Saphire is Team Aqua, which is led by Archie. I thought of this name as because, as the name of the team implies, they're sort of like pirates, and this kennel's design is very nautical.
Also because I could make 50 puns about calling him 'Arrrrchie'.

xxxxArchie is generally very irrational, though he has pretty decent self discipline, which you wouldn't expect of someone who lives a dangerous and lazy life. Most people would say he's generally social, and very people-oriented, though because of his dark sense of humor, he often makes bad first impressions. Being a people person, most people expect him to be good with emotional support, comfort, and advice, but the opposite is true. He often struggles to register emotions, and isn't very supportive. He's generally pretty devious, his common activities ranging the gamut from pranks to theft.

-History/Background:

xxxxArchie had an apparently normal home life. His parents seemed to care for him, and quite well, making sure he was well educated, and making sure he was healthy. Though, they tended to not let him talk about his emotions, and he suppressed negative emotions until they became too much for him to bottle up due to the emotional neglect.
His childhood was relatively quiet, his father was a sailor, and he often ferried people to and fro...but he was never really home a lot. Archie spent most of his childhood without his father, and with an unstable mother. As years passed he eventually learned that his mother was extremely attached to his father, but had separation issues, so when his father left for work, she often became fussy, paranoid, and stressed.

Archie never really became close to his father, and so the news of his death, involving the ship sinking, and him drowning, the details were currently fuzzy, but it wasn't surprising, considering a storm had struck while his father was sailing. didn't hurt him much, but it was clearly a tragic blow to his family, worsening his mother's current mental state, and taking out a majority of their income source. Archie was around 15 at the time, and he figured he could get a part time job to help pick up the slack around the house, though he didn't really know where to begin, considering his education was very poor, and he didn't do well in school, at all. Archie decided to become a deckhand for some of his father's work buddies, though he only worked on the weekends, considering he had to scrape up whatever was left of his meager education. They pitied him, and luckily, the pity got him a job as a part-time deckhand, where at least he got some decent money. He used the money to help his mother, whom despite her not really caring about him, he had come to care about a lot. It didn't take his mother long to realize Archie was trying to fill his father's shoes, and his mother became livid, screaming at him because he couldn't replace what she had lost, and it was absolute idiocy to think he could, after all, what did a boy who never associated with his father, actually know about his father? Archie's mother ordered him out of the house, yelling through tears in her eyes for him to stay out, and for him to not come back. He was hurt, though he was used to his mother being like this, and you should have expected it. She always told him how much he reminded her of his father, and the resemblance must have been..hard for her to deal with lately. He ended up taking the essentials with him, textbooks, notebooks, pencils, and his laptop and it's charger, considering that's what he needed for school. He held his phone in hand as he shoved everything else in his backpack and slung it over his shoulders, and as he stepped off the porch, he had a feeling he'd never see his mother again. He called up one of his coworkers, and pleaded with them to let him stay at their place, sleep on the couch, even on the floor, he didn't care. Luckily, the work buddy was pretty empathetic and sappy, coincidentally, it was the same guy who hired him. He let Archie have the couch, and even offered Archie to stay for free, so long as he chipped in for groceries and occasionally utilities or rent if he got in a rough spot. Archie could only just accept and stand shell shocked, because he'd never expected it to be that simple. Archie stayed with his work buddy long term, occasionally, he'd help with studying, or class work, and it really helped Archie graduate highschool with decent grades.

Considering he had a good life currently, he decided not to go to college, and became a full time deckhand. He eventually caught wind that his mother had fallen ill. It was rather sudden, and he only found out because he decided to go to a single family reunion after his graduation, and couldn't find his mother. He just knew, that life had been going far too well for him for far too many years. He just nodded, considering he couldn't visit her or she'd likely die of shock, he just told his uncle to tell him updates.
A few months later his mother had passed, and for the first time in his life, he felt hit by actual grief, he just couldn't grasp that she was gone, such a big force in his life, albeit negative, had simply blown out like a candle. He found it hard to get up, he didn't have a drive to impress her anymore, no drive to be accepted, to be treated like her son. It took weeks and lots of goading from his friend, to get up, and go back to work. He was sluggish, and unhappy. He had to be sat down, numerous times, and told that he needed to learn that he was better off, he'd done fine without her, and he could do fine without her still. Then, someone put it more delicately, that she was still watching, and she could still be impressed by his feats, and his achievements, and that slowly pulled him out of his rut, getting him to work harder, and start to bounce back, though it took months before he was fully recognizable as 'Archie'.
Currently, Archie is only around 20, and he's slowly crawled up the ranks to first mate, and instead of his coworkers bossing him around, it's generally him bossing others around.
Every now and then, you can see Archie having a moment of quiet solitude, standing at the bow of the boat, and looking up at the passing skies. It's best not to disturb him, he's usually having a very personal thought session.

xxxxArchie's decently healthy, though his steady diet of fast food and "Whatever I can find in the fridge." would have you believing otherwise. He tends to avoid doctor's visits, and really anything medical. He hates it with a seething passion and claims his home remedies work better anyway, which is where you start to see a slight decline in health, but his work buddies usually come in and save the day with actual medication.

I imagine this character with a higher voice, one that you'd expect from a younger person, which would probably retain his child like appearance, he's very loud though, and tends to yell a lot, though most can't take him seriously due the pitch, to which the laughter usually is followed by the sound of someone being smacked.

xxxxFirst Impressions:
He often leaves the impression of being a lazy typical teenager, despite being in his early twenties. He blames this on his small height and build. Though as someone gets farther into a conversation with him, they'll see he's really hard working, and just has a really bad back.

Again with the lazy teenager, he's often perceived as young, and irresponsible, which is accurate to a degree, but only just.

xxxxFriends' Impressions:
Archie's friends view him as that one funny dude who sometimes gets dark. Too dark. But he's often the go-to for advice, due to his brutal honesty, he often cuts right to the chase, and tells his friends how to improve.

xxxxFamily's Impressions:
Archie's family often saw him as a failure, because he wasn't smart, and wasn't exactly the pitch perfect portrait of his father, as his mother saw.

xxxxSelf Impression:
Archie doesn't think he's very great, but he knows he's not that bad either, so he doesn't feel that he needs to change.

xxxxAuthority's Impressions:
Archie's bosses view him as a hardworker, and someone they wouldn't fire without good reason
The law however, views him as an extreme nuisance.

xxxxAssociates' Impressions:
His coworkers view him as the comedic relief of the crew, constantly cracking jokes, but then he takes charge, and despite his small build and frame, he becomes really intimidating, and puts everyone to work, the new guys who make the mistake of laughing at him usually get a pretty good slap, and the wort job of the day, which is usually cleaning the restrooms, which are pretty gross on the charter.

Would Archie have a significant other, they would probably think he was a giant softie, because he gets fussy and caring about those he loves and cares for, though he's not the best with emotional support, he truly tries, and he flips out at the most minor of physical wounds, probably annoying his lover to some degree at some point.

xxxxCreator's Impression:
I'm actually, as the creator of this character, really happy. I mean, his story has made me sad, and writing it has made me very upset, as it just feels like you form some kind of bond with him along the way. I feel he's almost somewhat relatable myself, and it's something that's really made me love the character as a whole.
I put some parts of myself in this character, but I also wanted to take a different road too.
I can't really say how I feel about Archie, part of me says he's wonderful, and greatly planned out, another part of me says if I met someone like him, it would take me a long time to warm up to him, if I did at all.

xxxxPost Mortem Impression:
Were Archie to die(which trust me will only happen in theory or in alternate universes and not actually be canon, as I don't like killing off characters all that much ;o;) he'd be remembered as a hard worker, though the few who did remember him clearly would know he was more than that, and they'd probably smack anyone who said 'I wish I got to know him better' with the reason 'You should've done it while he was alive then!' to explain themselves, along with deep feelings of loss and feeling wronged.

xxxxArchie has a very 'relaxed posture' as he calls it. In essence, he slouches, a lot. He's very improper, and this leads to him being very slouchy around most people.

Why do I want her?:
First off, I tried out for Freya when she was first donated here. I was so attached to her, but I couldn't finish my form in time, and so she went to a different person. I though that was the end of our story together. Since I seriously, though that I would never see this beautiful girl again. When I saw that she was in the kennels again, I cried with joy. Then after recent code drop, I was checking the kennels, and there she was. Still there, it was fate, I tell you. Every nerve in my body tingled, a sign it was right to try for her again. So, I promised myself that I could try very my best to win her this time around. I love Freya, and I'm going to prove you Wes, of my love for her.♥

What would I use her in and as?:
I would use her as a beloved original character. I will cherish and love her, and I promise to draw her whenever I can.♥ I just simply love her design, it's simple but at the same time, beautiful and elegant.♥ She will also be used in stories, art, and role-plays, and maybe a comic. Personality:
This part is a WIP.
Shy at first.
Freya is very shy when you first meet her. She'll shy away from you nervously, since she doesn't know you. But she once knows you and her have something in common, she'll open up, and be friendly. She does this only, because of natural animal instinct and it's purely instinctive.
Curious.
Freya is very curious of the world around her, she seeks to find out everything that she can, about everything around her. Sometimes this leads to trouble for her, since she can be sometimes, a little curious for her own good. This often leads her running into danger, and to fix it. She'll use her superior intelligence to get out of a sticky situation, but that can and sometimes leads to a fight.
Confident but humble.
Freya is very confident of her abilities. Her overconfidence could be misread as cockiness, but those who know her can tell the difference between her confidence and cockiness. She will humbly take on any task given onto her. Her abilities are vast and she does many things well, so her confidence is well deserved.

Freya is very intelligent, she knows about many things, that most others have no clue about. She knows about the science behind fireworks, and is very fascinated by the science that goes into making fireworks. She has also learned quite a bit from exploring his surroundings, and by bad experiences.

Freya is very brave, she prides herself on being brave, since she believes it to be an great personality trait. She is so brave that, she'll run into danger if her friends need her help, without a second thought.

I will use her as a fourth fursona, and to be forever loved by me. You may think that this is weird, but I have three fursonas. Because, I am a complex person with different levels to my personality. Upon reaching the age of a year old, the wolf is gifted with a necklace, the carved wooden pendent being basically a totem. That represents the young wolf's element, and later a other carved wooden pendent is added to show the wolf's rank in the pack. The ranks are a little different then normal wolf ranks, for there is a deputy, a wolf that takes the place of alpha, when the alpha is out hunting or patrolling the borders. This wolf is normally the alpha's right hand man (wolf, I mean), a wolf the alpha trusts his life with, so the alpha knows this wolf can keep things under control. The forest where Rhayne's pack lives is 160 miles wide, and mist completely surrounds the forest keeping it completely hidden from humans. Her pack's territory spans 80 acres of the forest. Another pack lives across on the other side of the forest, their territory spans 80 acres as well. In the middle of the forest is a huge clearing, this clearing is neutral territory, it belongs to both of the packs. The two packs meet here every full moon, for a huge gathering. When this gathering happens all of the wolves from each pack, talk, play-fight, and become friends. Then the two pack alphas talk about influence by humans, sickness in each of the two packs, and how much prey is in their territories. Both of the packs happen to be only elemental wolves.

Personality:
A tomboy and adventurous.
Rhayne is a tomboy, and very adventurous. She'll take a camping trip, exploring, and touching lizards and bugs. Over being girly, and wearing makeup, and frilly dresses, any day. She hates frilly dresses, and makeup. She can stand wearing dresses that look awesome, but otherwise she dislikes dresses. She loves being a tomboy, cause girly girls are wimps in her opinion. Because they scream at seeing a lizard, or a bug, when it couldn't even plausibly hurt them in anyway shape or form.
Fearless and reckless.
Rhayne is fearless and reckless. She'll go into the unknown to save her friends, without thinking about her own safety. She rarely thinks of her own safety, when her friends safety is at risk. She is unafraid of the danger ahead, when her friends need her, and goes head on into the danger to help her friends.
Brave and strong
Rhayne is very brave and very strong. She is not afraid of anything, but spiders, and roaches. And that is because they creep her out. She is not scared by anything, because she knows that she could take on the monsters from the scary stories that North tells her, and because she took on worse.
Kind and caring.
Rhayne is kind and caring. She cares deeply about her friends, and when they are in danger, she worries about them. She is kind, and it shows through her friendship. She cares so much about her friends, that when she and North play pranks on her other friends, she makes sure to not go overboard, for her worry that if she does goes overboard on a prank, that she'll lose that friend forever, because she hurt her friend's feelings.
Energetic and sporty.
Rhayne is very energetic, and full of energy that is seemly endless. Because of this she is very sporty, and she is great at sports. Her favorite sports include, soccer, basketball, and baseball. She also loves to skateboard, and go surfing, and zip-lining.
Intelligent but impulsive.
Rhayne is very intelligent and very stubborn. She knows a lot about animals, insects, plants, constellations, math, (although she dreads math, she does know a lot about math since she needs to calculate when it's the right time for rain and ect. ) and weather patterns. She is very impulsive, so when she knows her friends are in danger, it's very hard to argue with her, since she will run off before you even finish a sentence, to argue why she shouldn't run off without a plan. She'll also be very stubborn about going somewhere because she wants to go there, but when she's stubborn like this, she always has a plan in advance. Sometimes it can be other way around, where she is the one arguing to a friend that, they should have a plan in advance before running off to save their friends from danger.
Sympathetic and caring.
Rhyane is very sympathetic, and quite very caring. She may not look like it, but she cares deeply about her friends, and even anyone who happens to need a shoulder to cry on. She cares about others and their feelings, and she is a great listener when you need a shoulder to cry on. But she normally reserves this side of her for when one of her friends needs a shoulder to cry on. But she'll be there if someone needs a shoulder to cry, even though that someone is a stranger to her.

Strawberry Fields has always been ambitious, from the moment she learnt about to cutie marks to setting up her own business. She agrees with the saying 'where there's a will, there's a way', and works hard to get what she wants.

Strawberry Fields is also a serious pony. She rarely makes small talk or banter, and can take a few moments to understand when people are doing so.

Insults and advice often bounce off this mare's tough skin. Not much can bother her, apart from people messing up her ambitions, her organisation or her attempts at perfection.

This young mare also tries to be helpful wherever she can. From sticking up for her sister to employing all of her family so they could have a job, she likes to makes people smile.

Cherry Passion - Best Friend - 19 - Cherry Passion and Strawberry Fields have a somewhat rocky relationship. Cherry Passion's erratic and reckless personality clashes with Strawberry Fields' solemn and stubborn one so often many wonder why they are still friends. However, the two girls are very fond of each other and they've rubbed off on each other a little, giving them a few moments when both are of the same opinion and they work together well.

Citrus Twist - Sister - 11 - Being her only sibling, Strawberry Fields is very close to Citrus Twist, despite their big age gap. Citrus Twist is very much like her sister in that she is serious, but she cannot stand up for herself. Strawberry Fields tries to look out for her younger sister, who, despite her high intelligence, can get hurt by the slightest taunt.

Arctic Rush - Boyfriend - 17 - Arctic Rush swept Strawberry Fields off her feet the first time they met, with his kind voice and charming smile. Arctic Rush is supportive of Strawberry Fields' big ideas, and the two clearly adore each other.
