Good job me posting in the wrong forum initiallyAs part of the grand opening of Narball Adopts, I will be holding an artist competition! If you're interested in becoming an artist for this species, feel free to color in and try out! You have nothing to lose, after all~ Just a few things to keep in mind before you do enter, though:

Rules:
-Check out the species info and artist rules before you color this in, just so you know about them ahead of time .p. Link to main thread
-You may make up to five entries
-Please make a cover if you're making more than one entry to keep them all organized
-Line edits are not required, but if done well, may boost your chances! Keep in mind to have most of your entries without them, though - Line edits are a rare mutation in Narballs, after all!
-If you make it as an artist, you can keep one of your entries as your custom or put any/all of your entries up for adoption!
-If you don't make it, you may keep your designs, but they can't be kept as a Narball - You'll have to put them on some other species, sorry!

Not sure of an end date or how many artists will be hired at the moment - Check back later for updates on that .3.
The first group of artists will be picked on November 1st! The contest will remain open after that for new entrants - The next end date after the first pick is undecided.

So, I have a question:

Let's say I enter and you decide to hire me as an artist? How often do you expect/require artists to create Narballs? Would once a month be too few?

I know I haven't entered yet, but I don't want to let you down if you hire me and expect me to make them very often. I tend to be very busy, so I want to make sure that if I am hired I would be able to be as committed as possible.

I'd say that you can make them on your own schedule, whenever you have time and inspiration to do so. I'm not going to be too strict about making them, as I myself often don't have access to a computer with working Java on it during the school year and whatnot due to having an iPad for school and only one computer at home which my mother hogs a lot, especially when I have a tablet I can use instead, so I know how that can be. Just as long as they're made often enough by all of the artists (and eventually guest and nursery artists) combined to keep the species alive c:
