Personally I would also love if we could all keep one baby from OUR pair ONLY.
Meaning not any other extra slot for another adoption if we choose not to keep
one of our bean's babies. uvu That way, we all have the four regular slots, and two
nursery slots (one for adoption/gifting from another player's beans, and one for
our own beans). However, I can see how this would be an 'issue' with some people
as if this rule was made, there'd be less beans made/gifted. c:

Also, I agree with the slot limit. If we keep pushing for
more slots, and we get them, eventually we'll have 9 or so slots

Um may I say something about the slots...why don't we just all be equal here and have an equal standing as the previous staff? I mean they get seven and were at 5. Now that they aren't really staff anymore, it kinda just leaves them at 7 and us at 5. It's not like those beans are loved any less than others or even ignored.

Gerbils right though. I've seen non owners win their first and then not even show show up again. Most of those babies are gifted to non owners anyways and those people are more active with them than others.

Most people with filled slots have many 1 gen beans that. They won't breed because neither them or the other parents owners can find anyone to trust with the baby. So they just idle them by and don't breed them (which isn't much of a problem besides the fact that it's sad to see the couple never have a family because of it.) I mean, we do have beans that we all want a baby from but are restricted from that through the limit that we have. If people were even to get to 6 or 7, it's not like we would be "hogging" them. There are a lot of 1st gen beans out there and even 2nd gens and thus more of a chance to obtain even your first bean.

A valid point. Yes, many people want to breed beans so they can keep at least one of their own breedings, it might seem selfish, but it's more like human nature. And who doesn't love babies? People won't keep every single one of their babies, but they want the chance to at least try to. Or the chance to give them to someone they know and trust will take care of them if they can't keep them. I don't see it as selfish. Sometimes it's hard to find people you're absolutely sure you can trust with something you hold extremely dear. I looked at this post and I agreed. Staff has 7 slots and we have 5. We could probably do with one more. I'm not saying this for myself. Heck, I still have one slot, but I know so many people who will never breed their beans just because they can't keep one of their own babies. Another thing. I see a lot of people with mostly empty slots saying they have more slots then they know what to do with. Could it be possible for people to gift slots they don't plan on using if they so choose?

I was wondering this too, as I only just
got my bean's first breeding in, and it
would be nice to maybe get a second one
in. This shouldn't be a problem if the
nursery opens every once in a while, as
you said before Hiccup, but if it doesn't...
It would be nice to have a chance before
it's too late ^_^;
