To add on, it's really hard for us who have been roleplaying with another bean for a while, but we never wanted to solidify as mates because we felt like we weren't ready in the roleplay yet. If the nursery was kept open (only by artists who wanted to do it), it would give the long-running couples time to not have to rush into a relationship.

I agree, I don't like to rush into a relationship, my bean just got engaged, but if we wanted to breed them, they would have to have a wedding within a few days.

though, since you can privately roleplay on any timeline, I must say if necessary you can officially make them mates, but rp and let their relationship develop privately. So this isn't a big issue.

I believe all artists are also nursery artists, unless they already retired or never really create a NB in the first place.
There are me and Shire for sure, and maybe Patches, Polar, Painted sun, Cry and SoOJ if they're willing to stay.

I'm pretty sure all artists were allowed to breed nursery beans as they wished, though some don't actively make them.
SoOJ used to be only a nursery artist, but now that she's been promoted I believe all current artists are also nursery artists.

Though not all of the artists were active in the nursery, some only popped in occasionally to make babies for their own beans.

yes, I was thinking about keeping this open for all summer xD
and yes, all pending breedings can totally be done, as well as new ones to come until I decide a closing date.
I'm highly considering to open the nursery every once in a while and not to permanently shut it down.

Can I suggest something? If not I'll just hide in a corner.
Maybe we can open up the remaining 3 breedings for 1st gen beans, and maybe give 2nd gens two more breedings, so 1st gen can breed 6 times and 2nd gen can breed 3 times? I dunno, I just hear how owners of 2nd gen families with kids wish they could have more. I'm an owner of a 2nd gen bean too, and I'm pretty sure when she's grown I'll wish the same. Just a random suggestion that popped in my head, it still may need some tweaks and stuff.
