well that one day might be very far away but it will be even farther the less you practice
even if you just draw one part of a character over and over again one piece at a time you'll get there
hetalia is a simpler anime to draw (not including season 5 that one not so much lol) so start with hetalia or any related kind of anime it might help

I agree. Hetalia is much simpler than most anime therefor it is much easier to draw. Just keep practicing like crazy, you'll eventually develop your own style ^^ I can draw Himaruya's style but that is only with references, and even then its not the greatest nor close to exact. My own style is crappy and not very well, but I'm improving it...it just takes a lot of practice.

when ever you draw keep in mind it shouldn't be exact its better to make your own little twists in the drawing even if they are tiny its okay to change things
if you look at the pics of hetalia characters i drew previously you will notice they are pretty much copies of other pics (no i didnt trace them if you are wondering i simply drew them to look like the originals many people think i trace but i try not to) although some things are different from the originals
most of it is similar i did take measurements to get them the same size as well but you dont need to do that cuz it sucks measuring every line exactly. X3

I have a notebook that I practice drawing people in, and that's what I do. I don't measure them, but I use Hetalia as references for whatever I'm drawing. Well, not recently. I've been drawing them... freestyle, I guess, but same difference, XD
