Why should you be a mod?: Moderating is a job I see fit for adoptables. I'm not much of the artist or owning type, rather keeping the crowd under control and such. This species is simply amazing for words and I would love to join in on the fun and create a better community as well as meet everyone. I've been mods for many adoptables, including Simas. I am at most comfort doing these type of things and enjoy moderating. As mods, I want to feel equal with everyone here c:

Customs are reserved only for staff members or special circumstances in the meanwhile, as they are a closed species. Though if you check in the main adopts section and look below, you can try for lots of more plumies that are up for adoption! Further questions regarding this topic should be taken to PM.

Artist positions are currently not open at the moment, but you can always look out for open applications to try out for. As rules state, please do not ask to be part of the staff. I'd suggest reading rules before asking further questions so that they do not have to be repeated again.

Artists are not biased to any individual. They choose forms based on quality and content. Artists usually have other judges to look over forms before choosing a winner. If you have nothing nice to say, please do not ruin this for the winner or upset others. Everyone has an equal chance of obtaining a Plumie. c:

Staff members do not receive any special powers or passes for joining a competition. They are as equal as us and artists will only judge forms based on quality and content, not by person. Everyone starts from the the same point and has a fair chance at the Plumie. c:

Why should you be a mod?: There are an endless number of reasons why I would like to be a moderator for Plumerians. I'll start with the fact that I absolutely adore this species. The moment I saw them I fell for them, and I knew I had to win one. It was really cool to watch these adopts grow in popularity so fast. I thought this species had the potential to do so, and it really did. I have lots of experience dealing with difficult users and enforcing the rules in a friendly way. I sadly do not have an active species that I am a moderator for to use as an example. But this might be a good thing, I will be able to focus all my time on CS to helping users and enforcing rules here. But have owned/moderated large topics that I had to deal with the rule breakers in. An example is holibombs, the old gifting game I used to run during the holiday season. The amount of spam posted on these topics were insane and stressful, but I always kept my cool and handled it in a friendly way. I would even apologize while handing out strikes, because its not fun, but its something that has to be done to keep things under control. When enforcing rules there are three things I make sure I do. First, I explain what the user has done wrong. I find the exact rule they broke and explain why it is in place and why it must be followed. Then I tell them how they can avoid breaking the rule. I do this by directing them to post such things, or doing whatever seems fit. Lastly, I make sure that the message is friendly, never sounding snappy, rude, or annoyed towards the user. It is never okay to talk down to a user or be impolite, even if they are doing so to you. It is also completely against my personal morals to be biased, so I will never bring bias into the job. I am very much willing to dedicate myself to this species. I am not only willing, but would be honored, and it is something I would would love and be proud of doing. I spend all of my time on CS around the Oekaki boards, and I visit the Adoptable Oekaki/Created Pets areas the most. I think I should be chosen as a moderator because I have the time for the species, I understand the duties of the job, I am mature and have the people skills that often come in handy for the position.

This is not an open species, so custom Plumerians are not open to the general public. But there are many Plumerians that are up for adoption, and I encourage you to try out for one if you are interested in the species!

I am glad to see you enjoy the species! We are not currently accepting artists, and it is actually against the rules to ask to be staff, so we would appreciate if we didn't see questions like this. ^^
But we do occasionally hire guest artists, so keep an eye out for when we open applications!

Posting things like this is unacceptable and is not only offensive to the winner, but also to the judges. There were lots of awesome forms for this plumerian, and I can assure you that it was not easy to judge. Your form was not a waste, it was considered, and we appreciate the time and effort you spent on it. Your form wasn't chosen because the artist didn't see it fit for the plumerian, not because it was created by you. The staff here at Plumerian Adopts are always unbiased and fair, so please do no accuse us of not being so.
Please treat all users with the respect that you would want to be treated with yourself. uwu

This is not something that I would deal with publicly. I would report this post to the CS staff, because art theft is simply not okay anywhere on CS, and they should face the consequences of Plumerian adopts and the site itself. In the report I would include the image that was stolen from. I would also contact Char so they are aware of the situation. I think that serious situations like these should be mainly left to CS staff, since it is breaking their rules more than it is ours.

I would like to inform you that the staff here at Plumerian Adopts are unbiased and fair, and nobody will win just for being staff. uwu
I have lost many Plumerians myself, and I don't think any of the judges would choose my form to win a plumerian simply because I made it. Contests are judged based off of things like effort and dedication to the plumie, not who posted the form.

Nope there's no rule! You could have all commons or all VRs if you managed to win them, whatever strikes your fancy! Cx
Those things are more put in place to help artists make sure they don't make too many rare things and such ;v; ~

Why should you be a mod?: Well, I am a mature and understanding person, I have been admin for plenty of my own adopts and I have modded for adopts such as Rune Dragons, and plenty of non oekaki adopts. I'm level-headed, unbiased and overall, in my own opinion, a very nice and friendly user. I'm pretty good at speaking to people from a neutral perspective and do my best to try and sort situations out.

Why should you be a mod?: (past experience, how much time you have online, your personal moderating style, why you think you'd do well, etc ... Convince me!)
I think I should be a moderator since I am online basically every day for quite a while.
One of my other features that I think would apply nicely is that I spend a lot of time figuring out a reasonable reply and I'm not very shy when it comes to catching those rule-breakers!
Being a moderator of your adoptions really appeals to me since I love helping people and enforcing rules.
I also think I'd do well because I am quite friendly and really enjoy being social and communicating with members.
So I feel like if there was anyone complaining about not getting one I'd be able to step in and give them a precise explanation, I have quite a bit of past experience, I have been a moderator/co-owner at PastelFoxes, I am a moderator/owner at The Storybook Artshop, I also helped out at a lot of art shops.

Sorry for the inconvenience but customs are not for the "open eye” since they are a closed species, but they are open for community events and staff.

Our Plumerian artists are not biased; they search through all the forms and find one that they think is the most detailed and fits the Plumerian best.
Please try to be happy for the winner and try out next time, but if this sort of thing continues we will act accordingly.

I'd probably go and pm Char right away, after doing that I'd pm the artist stating why they cannot do that and that is basically art theft; if they refused to take the picture down I'd report it.

Haha, I can see where you are coming from, but no. Staff have the exact same chance of winning it then everyone else does, and if a staff member does win, it is just pure coincidence; the staff member could have a more fitting form and win that way, or the artists may just pick them randomly, either way it is completely fair to both staff and contestants.

None of the Plumerian artists are biased towards anyone. If they feel they are going to be biased in a competition, they can hire another artist or two to help out. They pick whichever form they think best fits the Plumerian in question.
Please do unto others as you would have them do unto you. If you act out like this again, we will have to issue out punishment.

Do not by any means let that discourage you!! You always have a chance. Our artists are un-biased, so they won't just choose a staff member because they are apart of the staff. Why should you be a mod?: First off, I do not have any past moderating experience on CS, but I was part of a RP website where I did moderate one of the forums. I spend about 1-5 hours on CS a day, depending on what my schedule is. Also, I will be gone from the 1st of July to the 11th on a vacation. Anyways, I am very level headed and when dealing with troubling people, I speak kindly and redirect them to the correct path so to speak.
