Will you pick up this mustang on the 22nd of June?: If KC an - I'm hoping my entry is not too late.
Will you train this mustang?: Yes.
What are some of your training plans?: First, I will allow the horse to become used to my presence, as this is such a stressful time. This means many days of sitting out in the field with him/her, and just waiting.
I will obviously turn him/her out with other horses, to maintain the herd atmosphere and allow him/her to settle.
When he/she accepts my presence, I will begin to teach him/her to accept a head collar, using many treats, praise and patience, taking everything at their pace.
Once trust is established, there will have to be clear boundaries, as some behaviour would not be tolerated.

Using these methods, I hope to create a well rounded and balanced horse, working through trust.

If a mustang is not picked up within a certain amount of time, what happens to that mustang? Also, if an owner decides he/she doesn't want to work with the mustang, what happens?
I'm really sad about missing this opportunity, and if one of the non-claimed mustangs needs a home I would gladly work with one <3

Almost all the mustangs have been picked up I believe. No mustangs will be adopted out until after September 4th, but keep an eye out!

The list is not entirely accurate, as some horses were picked up late, but some are correct; some mustangs do not have an owner <3

I believe the problem is that, offically, the horses do belong to the contestants even if they were not picked up yet. As the contest ends at the 4th of September, the horses that have not been claimed until then will be re-adopted,but until then, the contestants can Claim them at any time, so it would be unfair to adopt them out just because someone missed claiming them on a certain date for some reason, I think ^^

This is correct, some people have vacation/internet issues, which is basically what I said. If you have further questions, direct them towards teresa. ^__^
