I give a friendly nod to Vitani before she walked away. I look at Aslan and force a weak smile, a small lump in my throat. "I can't thank you enough.." I say, pulling my ears back and sighing a long, slow sigh. A tear fell from my cheek, I was ready to go, but leaving my offspring was the hardest part. I look up at him. "I suppose I should tell Sheeba, I'm not sure how she would take it, I wish I didn't have to do it." I say, looking towards the watering hole she had walked off to. "You've done well for yourself son, I couldn't be any more proud of you and your sister, a couple of fine lions you both turned out to be, and I'm thankful for you both." I shift my paws a bit, I wasn't one to get mushy with other males, not that much with females either though. "I love you, Aslan." I said, in a choked up voice.

Aslan sighed, watching his father. He couldn't believe how so many years had gone by. "I.. I could help you tell Sheeba.." He said, trying not to let his pushing tears flow. Aslan bowed his head in thanks to his father's words. And, finally a tear rolled down the tough lion's cheek, "I love you too, dad." He said, chuckling gently. It wasn't often this happened with Aslan and Luka, and when it did, Aslan always took it in, and let it sink in.

Ashki growled, looking down to the cub, then back to Lukia. She left without another word. The lioness turned and walked off, her tail lashing as she thought of the other lioness. Haku did not need any male, he was perfectly fine. She wouldn't be surprised if Maximus killed the d*mned cub. That was common for most males, to kill any cubs that are not of the blood line.

Ashki snarled, laying down below a tree for some cool air. Her brown eyes flicked around, looking for any communication.

Maskia smiled, "I will." She said, bounding off. Though she wasn't too sure of the whereabouts of the hunting grounds, she needed to find it sooner or later. After about 10 minutes, she found a zebra herd. A little risky for a lone lioness, but Maskia could manage. She got low to the ground, eyes pinned on a baby zebra. Her ears pushed back, watching it as it lays down. Big mistake. The bright lioness bolted forward, jumping onto the young zebra, easily pulling it to the ground. Now, to worry about the mother. Though zebras were flight animals, some mothers would come back to fight for their babies. And oh, was this mother doing just that. She whipped around and came full force at Maskia. The lioness jumped up with a loud roar and sent the zebra hot on it heels back to the herd, away from the kill. Maskia licked her lips before going back to the small carcass and pulling it back to the Pride Camp.

Uhama turned to see a lioness, she guessed this cubs mother. "Hello.. I'm not hear to harm a soul." She said, backing away from the cub. Uhama could not risk a fight while she was this heavy with cubs.

I sigh. "I know I haven't told you enough, but I always have, and I always will." I say and look to my paws, chuckling shortly after his. "I suppose that'd help, at least she has you to be there for her." I pull my ears back and sigh, looking towards the watering hole. "She's over here." I say and begin slowly walking over to it, the usually small limp in my step.

I watch mother walk over to uncle Aslan and grandpa Luka. I strut over to them and crawl between mother's front legs and sit. I watch, pulling my ears back and noticing the sad faces.

Vitani flashed the other lioness a friendly smile before tearing into the carcass, Knowing she would need to eat a bit more because of the cubs that would be arriving whenever, Eating until she was full before leaving the rest for her and the king.

Senri let out a snarl as she felt the kicks of the cubs become more rapid, Knowing they we're on the way.

I smiled as I looked at the other lioness and nodded at her and dipped my head a little at her,. I purred a bit as I dug into the fresh meat, then looked up for a small moment to watch her softly. "So, how has life been treating you?"
