INTRO //

Hello and welcome to Light Collector Adopts! Here you may adopt tiny mystical creatures known as Light Collectors. Light Collectors are very tiny and light, enabling them to have the ability to fly without having wings. One of the first things that one may notice, however, is their very strange glowing tails and horns. The color of a Collector's horns vary in color, and it is thought that the color represents their favorite color of light to ''eat''. Confused? Well, you see, a Light Collector eats or ''collects'' energy from light bulbs, giving them their name. A Light Collector needs to collect light to survive, as it is their main food source. A Light Collector may eat other things, such as fruit, but it doesn't help them very much hunger wise.

FAQ //

How do I adopt a Light Collector?

Adopting is easy and fun! All you have to do is look for a Collector that catches your eye, then click on its image. This will bring you to their page, where there will be a form that the artist wants you to fill out for a chance to win that particular adopt. There is many different contests, and some require art, writing, and sometimes plain old guessing! The artist will then choose a winner at the end of the contest deadline.

An artist hasn't judged this contest yet! What should I do?

Don't panic, there is a solution! If an artist has let the contest go past the posted end date, simply try bumping the topic. If this doesn't work, try sending a polite pm to the artist saying something like; "I was wondering if you maybe forgot LC #5731's contest? It ended on Janurary 4th and its now the 12th.". If this doesn't work, pm me about it and I will either judge the contest myself or appoint another staff member to do it.
