this is my fay
Name:
Atys (A-tis)
Reason:
in Greek mythology Atys was a youth beloved by Aurora, and was slain by her father, but, according to Ovid, was afterward turned into a pine-tree. Therefore this is the perfect name for a brown and green fae that reminds me of a pine tree
Other: (must have to do with her color. How she got it, what it means, what it reminds you of...)
Atys reminds me of a brown and green pine tree, this could symbolize her birth and love for her mother. Atys was foaled underneath a great big pine tree in the forest as her mother had escaped from her owners. Atys mother died shortly after the foaling so she wears the green color of the forest in remembrance of her own dear mother who she never really knew.
