Wildfire turned around, "You're awake." She smiled. "Eaglepaw said you were fighting a loner, then took quite a fall." She said, recalling what the apprentice had told her. Wildfire padded over to the injured apprentice. "I'm sure you feel quite sore right now, I did what I could for your wounds. If it doesn't hurt too much, try moving each limb for me."

Stingingpaw nodded. He first tried to move his hindlegs. They were just fine. Then his left front leg. Same thing. Lastly, he tried to move his right front leg, and pain surged through it. "Oww!" he collapsed back to the ground.

Patchpaw heard her brother's 'Oww!' and came racing to the medicine den. "Is he all right?" she asked Wildfire urgently.
