Ahem. Sorry about that. Couldn't resist. X3 It was too good an opportunity.
What I mean to say is that I have been wanting, needing a Pokemon trainer to own my Pokemon characters as part of her Pokemon party. This girl is perfect in every possible way for what I'd want or have been looking for in a Pokemon trainer character. I seriously just discovered her today and started writing this form out because I couldn't bear not to try out for her because she is prefect. I have all sorts of ideas for her and I already love the story that I've typed out so far for her for this form. It's really just a skeleton/basic idea of her Pokemon journey which I plan on fleshing out more if/once I get her.
History/Background/Other:

Personality

Janette, or Jet as she sometimes prefers to be called, is a very vivacious young girl. She is also a very moral girl, she believes that Pokemon are not tools, they are friends, pets, and family and should be treated with respect. She is a very loving, caring soul, which is also her biggest fault as she will take on any cause or Pokemon. She can never really say no to a person or Pokemon in need, nor can she stand by and watch someone mistreat their Pokemon. Jet is not afraid of telling others what she thinks or feels about a situation nor is she afraid to fight for what she believes in.
Janette's nickname, Jet, is a very accurate nickname in that it accurately describes her lightning quick wit and reflexes. She finds it easy to adapt to a situation and make snap decisions when in a tight spot. This is something that comes in handy for her for Pokemon battles and in everyday life outside of Pokemon battles. Her nickname is also accurate in that she is always active, she hates doing nothing for too long. She prefers to be doing something productive when she can, either grooming her Pokemon or training them. Due to her need to always be doing something, she often tries to juggle doing more than one thing at once, which often leads to some issues and complications for her.

Background/History

Ever since Janette was a little girl, she loved Pokemon and could hardly wait for her tenth birthday to arrive so that she could become a Pokemon trainer, get her first Pokemon, and start on her journey. Growing up in the Unova region, she has would be able to pick between the three starters for her region: Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott; a decision she debated on for several years. When her tenth birthday finally came around and she came to the Professor's Lab, she had the choice of her region's starter Pokemon and discovered that she still couldn't decide between the three of , especially between Tepig and Oshawott.
Her region's Professor, taking pity on her, decided to help her out a little with her decision and presented her with a Poke ball containing what would be Jet's first Pokemon. When she opened up the Poke ball, it released a female Pikachu with unique markings, who Janette fell instantly in love with and decided to grace with the nickname Hotaru. Hotaru was unusually mild mannered for a Pokemon that is not generally given as a starter to new trainers and therefore did not give Jet too many problems during their first days together.

Along the way, during Janette's journey, she eventually ran into a Pokemon that would become the next team member of her Pokemon party. It all happened when her and Hotaru were traveling through a forest on the way to city so she could battle the gym leader that resided there when they were ambushed by some members of the evil organization known as Team Plasma who were attempting to steal Hotaru away from Jet. Much to Janette's frustration, she was unable to rescue Hotaru because she herself had been tied up to a tree, but as she struggled to get out, something darted from out of the trees and attacked the Team Plasma members and sent them flying.
To Janette's surprise, it was a female Riolu, wearing a tattered black cape and had red markings instead of black ones. Jet thanked the Riolu and asked her if she wanted to join her on her travels, but the Riolu refused and ran off. Disappointed, but too weary to leave the forest, her an Hotaru camped in the forest. Awaking in the morning and recommencing their travels, they continued through the forest, only to realize that after the Team Plasma incident that they were now completely lost in the forest. They wandered about for what seemed like hours until the female Riolu suddenly appeared before them and beckoned them to follow her. The Riolu led Jet and Hotaru safely from the forest, and after a great deal of convincing and a hard grueling battle to prove her worthiness to be the Riolu's trainer, the Riolu joined Janette's party and Jet gave her the nickname Ria.

The most recent addition to her Pokemon party is actually an unexpected one, Janette was captured along with her two Pokemon by Team Plasma and while they were escaping their base, Janette came across a lab which contained a Pokemon that was a mix of an Espeon and an Umbreon. Deciding that it was for the best for the poor Pokemon, she set it free and then commenced escaping with Hotaru and Ria. When they were out of the base and had gotten far away, the Pokemon that she had set free came back and expressed a desire to join Jet's party. So Janette captured her and named her Evangeline and decided to call Evangeline an Esbreon as her species since she looked like a mix between the two evolved forms of the Pokemon Eevee.

Janette, or Jet as she often goes by for short, keeps all of her Pokemon outside of their PokeBalls while she is travelling, since she has only three Pokemon and they all stick close to her. I was going through the kennels like I always do when new pets/ characters are added, when I saw him. He must've been one that was sent in via PM because I hadn't seen him on any of the pages. Once I saw him I knew I needed him. I don't have nearly as many cat/ feline characters as I'd like and he'd make a perfect addition to my family

History/Background/Other:
Bolt grew up like any other bobcat. He used to have dark brown fur with gray here and there until those pesky humans came and captured him. Taken! From his own homeland, might he add! The humans took him to their facility. They poked, prodded, and experimented on him. [i]It's for science! One would shout to another who argued that it wasn't right to treat the animals like this. Bolt couldn't agree more. What do you know about what's right for the animals? another would ask, snapping at the one defending him. More than you. The one being ganged up on shouted and stormed away. Bolt never saw that person back in the lab. As days turned to weeks and weeks to months, he lost faith that he's escape until one day when they injected something into him. It burned his veins like a thousand white suns but made him shiver as if he were in the fridged waters of the Atlantic ocean. He yowled and screamed in pain before passing out.

When he came to, he felt different, more energetic than he had in months. He lifted himself from the cold metal of his cages bottom and looked around. Great... Just great... He thought to himself. Looking around somemore, he scratched at the cage, like he always did when he was hungry or in the mood for scratching a human hand. This time was much different than the other times. Insted of his paw connecting with metal, something sparked and exploded, sending him flying into the back of the cage. Looking up, the front of the cage was smoking and melted. Walking forward again, he poked his head out through the new hole. Shrugging at the fact there was a gigantic hole in the cage, he jumped down onto the floor.

Name You'd Choose for It: Valentina. In Italian, this means "strong; vigorous; powerful", and I found it really fitting (as a name) for the personality that I have in mind for her. She is called Val for short, but never Tina - "Tina" sounds much too girly for her liking.
Species/Breed: Grey Wolf Anthro.
Gender: Female, obviously.
Reason You Want It: When Valentina was first donated, I was immediately drawn to her. I was considering applying for her, but I decided (instead) to try out for Willow, the albino Ninetales. And we all know how that ended up. So, here I am now, applying for Valentina. There's something about her design that just pulls me in and makes me want to take her in, to develop her character even further. She seems like the perfect character to fit the role of my fursona, Kriss's, best friend. They seem like they'll be great companions, and I can already imagine what sort of misadventures they'll get themselves into.

As I scrolled through the kennels, his design caught my eye.
No, no, no, I thought. You don't need anymore canine characters. Besides, you mainly have male canine characters, anyways. Just pick another kennel to try out for.
As I continued scrolling, I couldn't get him off of my mind. I then went out to double-check my thought process, and found a flaw: I have very few male canine characters. I mainly have female. Seeing this, I decided to try out for him. After all, he's gorgeous! His beautiful grey eyes, the GORGEOUS dapple-like design of grey-browns and pale silver, and the cute little jingle-bells on his back leg really do create a great-looking character.
